I was diagnosed with MS in 2002 and I am doing really bad and cannot walk he did one test and concluded it wasn’t PML and decided he didn’t know what was wrong with me and I needed a second opinion when I asked him for a referral to the doctor I wanted to see he told me he didn’t like him. He has bad mouth every neurologist in the area, except for one and refuses honestly to do anything. I have reached the point in my illness where I need a wheelchair and when I asked him to please help me get one he said “I don’t do that”. I asked him to fill my prescription for gabapentin, which was given to me for the pain that is associated daily with multiple sclerosis and he said “I don’t do that”. I continued to tell him that there was something wrong with my body, and I didn’t know what it was, but it was not multiple sclerosis, causing it. He insisted that that was what was truly going on and that I should get another opinion if I didn’t think that’s what it was. Upon seen another doctor I found out. I also had fibromyalgia as a patient of 22 years of dealing with this I know my body, what is going on, and when something isn’t right. My mother asked “so what does he do“, I answered, “get on my nerves that’s what he .does“. Do not go here unless you truly have no other options. His patient care is very poor,

Dr. Taormina & Co. 1 star because that’s the lowest I can go. Worst neurological office I’ve had to deal with in almost a decade of my MS. Makes everything so difficult for no reason and are so condescending. Like if you don’t like your field of work get a new job. Unless you have an illness that doesn’t require much interaction from them please do your self a favor and go elsewhere. Multiple people in this office has told me “That’s a lot of work…” like bro that’s your job I’ve done all the ground work all you have to do is the bare minimum that I can’t so frustrating. For instance today I’m waiting so far 5 hours for someone to tell me if they received a fax. How hard is that? But the problem is they don’t want to spend the couple of moments to call the prescription in because “that’s to much work…”. Please please unless you need care now and they are your only option GO ELSEWHERE PLEASE.

I had a horrible experience when I went there. Dr. Patel he didn’t even ask how I was doing and walked out the room before I could even explain the situation …. please do not go there. You will be wasting your time and money.

As a patient who has visited both sites I would absolutely recommend seeing him at the Statesboro location. The Swainsboro location you do not have access to patient records, some of the staff isn’t as pleasant as those at the Statesboro location. Being newly diagnosed I had tons of questions. The nurse Sloan is heaven sent!!! She answers questions and does not mind you asking the questions you need to. Taormina was a lot better at the Statesboro location too!! When I visited in Swainsboro I was really ready to find a new neuro. But the environment and experience in Statesboro convinced me to stay.
