  Loved my doctor and the woman who sold my glasses. I will say that they need could benefit from support with the phones customers are calling and it’s deflating the experience for sales having to manage that. It wasn’t the sales woman’s fault nor was she overwhelmed but that is a job in itself the company should reframe customer service in house and virtually. From a customer in house it dampened my experience and I’m sure the customer on the phone may have felt the same being placed on hold.

  My husband scheduled his appointment two weeks in advance and arrived approximately 40 minutes early. He even used that extra time to browse and pre-select the glasses he planned to purchase. Despite having a scheduled appointment, he waited 30 minutes past his appointment time just to be taken back for pre-screening. At that point, he was told there were still three people ahead of him and that they were waiting for “the doctor to get back”—with no real explanation of what that meant or how much longer the wait would be. When we asked why they were running so far behind scheduled appointment times, the response was simply, “Well, it’s only one doctor.” If you only have one doctor available, then the appointment schedule should reflect what that doctor can reasonably accommodate. Patients schedule appointments—and arrange their day around those appointments—for a reason. A short delay is completely understandable, but being significantly behind schedule with multiple patients still ahead of you, after booking two weeks in advance, points to an issue with scheduling and communication. Unfortunately, the dismissive response when we asked about the delay made an already frustrating experience worse. Better communication and more realistic scheduling would have gone a long way.

  They gave me the wrong prescription, wouldn’t return calls or pick up phone most of the time, and want to charge me to check prescription again when they should have had the previous one from my previous appointment. Also said my last appointment was years ago when I was there less than a few months ago
