  Do not come here and find a better eye doctor. The staff, including the doctor, is extremely rude and judgmental. My experience with the doctor is that she was unprofessional, very judgmental and made multiple remarks during my 3 appointments to shame and try to embarrass me and my eye health. The staff also is unpleasant to customers. I will not be coming back and will go somewhere else to get a second opinion. I was not able to get an accurate prescription and when I told the doctor that I could not see at all out of both the trial prescriptions that were ordered, she did not make any suggestions but rather said these are the only options I have and suggested again it is my fault for having poor vision. I have had contacts for over 10 years and have never left a negative review or had such a negative experience with optometrist or the staff. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else where the doctor will listen and help with your concerns because you will not find that here.

  I had annual eye exams scheduled for my two children on Tuesday, June 2, at 12:00 p.m. and 12:15 p.m. with Dr. Chacko. We arrived at 11:57 a.m. and were asked to complete intake paperwork upon arrival. By 12:25 p.m., we still had not been called back. Another patient who had arrived before us was also still waiting. Given that I needed to be elsewhere later that afternoon, I asked the receptionist whether we would likely be finished by 1:30 p.m. Her response was that we would need to reschedule the appointments. There was no apology, acknowledgment of the delay, or concern for the inconvenience caused. At that point, I chose to leave. My family has been a longtime patients of Unique Family Eyecare inside LensCrafters on Stone Mountain Highway, and this experience was disappointing. Under Dr. Batchelor (who was amazing), appointment times were honored within a reasonable timeframe, and patients were treated with courtesy. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can occasionally put a schedule behind, the complete lack of communication and customer care made this experience particularly frustrating. Unfortunately, after this experience, I do not plan to return.

  Everything was fine except for the wait time. Not sure if they were behind or short staffed. My appt was at 1145am and they called me back around 1230 or a little after.
