- FMFoto ManAug 15, 20261.0After the For Eyes location I usually use closed, I travelled a distance to arrive here to shop for new eyeglasses. My opthomalogist wrote the prescription for distance and asked the optician to fill a second pair for use on my computer. This location said they could not do that without a written prescription detailing the change. I asked if we could go ahead and take measurements and I would email the adjusted prescription. They told me Georgia law does not allow prescriptions electronically and I would have to return in person with a printed prescription. That is not accurate, according to Georgia laws. They also said that must have the prescrition for fitting, which also is not true. So, For Eyes has lost me as a returning customer after many past purchases and my recommendation to others.

I told the scheduler the insurance I currently have, and the one I would be switching to in the new year. I called yesterday to confirm the location of my appointment, since I attempted to book at Duluth but my text reminder said Snellville. I was told that the Duluth location closed, and I said I may call back to reschedule the appointment if I didn’t think I could make it with my work schedule. I shifted my hours to be able to get to the appointment on time, only to arrive and be told the doctor I was scheduled to see did not take my current insurance. My only option was to pay out of pocket. No, thank you.
