  Posting this mostly as a warning, because I wish someone had told me before I walked in. I have only ever posted maybe one other review so this is rare for me to even do this. I went in for plantar fasciitis. The salesperson was genuinely and disarmingly charismatic. She fitted me, watched me walk, the whole thing. I asked about pricing a couple times along the way and kept getting deflected until we were literally at checkout, where the total came out to over $2,000. I hesitated, obviously, and she compared it to getting braces — that’s why it costs so much. Then said my insurance would reimburse most of it, everyone’s does except Medicaid. I financed it on the spot through a medical credit card, 18 months no interest, so it felt “safe” in the moment. I went back the same day because I had done some research and told her I wasn’t sure insurance would actually cover it, and instead of hedging at all, she seemed almost offended I’d doubt it. She expressed she’d never heard of a plan not covering it except Medicaid. I called my insurance myself the next morning and it’s not covered without a prescription, and the store doesn’t even bill insurance directly, so it’s on you to file the claim yourself. They also told me they’d email me billing codes to help with that and I never received them. I tried to return the product the same day I bought it. Got told to keep them and try insurance first. Went back two more times and got three different explanations of their return policy. At one point the manager offered a small refund of some kind (they say substantial but it was not). And nowhere in their actual printed return policy does it say you have to “try them out” first before you can get your money back — that requirement only showed up once I was standing there asking for a refund. Read the printed policy on my receipt afterward: it only covers shoes and cushions for exchange, not the arch supports, which is most of what you’re paying for. If you’re thinking about going: ask for the full price in writing before anything else, get the return policy in writing, and call your own insurance before you sign anything. The whole thing felt designed for someone in pain who just wants relief right now — that’s exactly when you’re least likely to question a number or push back on a promise. I personally don’t think that’s a coincidence. Don’t let your pain talk you into a bad decision like I did. If the product works so well they should not have to resort to shady sales tactics. Do some deeper research before purchasing. I wish I had.
