We just moved here and am trying to find all new doctors and get all 35 of my prescriptions moved here. Some new drs are tweaking my rx’s to new drugs…there is a male pharmacist at this Kroger who seems to take issue with all my medicines and is calling my drs new and old asking for written consent and reasons for writing those rx’s. I have had drs get angry and call me to complain. When I try to talk to the pharmacist, he says it is his legal right to do this. I have had to go into intimate details as to why I take each prescription and for all my medical conditions. He seems uninterested in this. We are taking our prescriptions & business to Walgreens or CVS. We have used various Kroger pharmacies for 16 years and NEVER encountered this before!!!!

Absolutely TERRIBLE. Everyone is always rude and acts like I'm bothering them when I'm just requesting the basics - to be checked out, get a refill etc. What do you think would happen if everyone stopped refilling prescriptions in person? If you're unhappy being at work, it doesn't make me happy to give you my business. I'm always kind and respectful and patient and I've given every single person at this location a lot of grace and tried to be understanding about whatever ails you for that day, but I'm over it. Remember that this is one of those jobs that's maybe a decade or less away from being easily replaceable with a kiosk. I'm finding a new pharmacy today. I encourage you to think of every customer as if they were your brother, sister, mother, daughter, son etc. and tell me if you'd still treat them the way I see you treat people.

I was definitely treated badly here. Moving from several states away, I needed my prescriptions transferred from my former Kroger pharmacy to this one. Despite acknowledging the medications in their system for my specific patient profile, the pharmacist insisted on calling my doctor to verify that Kroger’s own system records of my prescriptions was correct. They wouldn’t even fill a paper prescription my doctor had written until they called to verify the doctor had actually written it despite having years of monthly prescriptions for that same medication. Now, I’m without medications until the pharmacist “gets time to call the doctor.” If the pharmacist can’t find time tomorrow, I’m sure another pharmacy will be happy to fill my medications.
