Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Discovered my antibiotic RX that once I got home was prescribed/filled well below the therapeutic range for a major bacterial infection. I felt a professional, accountable pharmacist would have questioned the order instead of a pharmacy tech informing me, 'it was what your doctor ordered, you have the medication, you call'. Consumer beware.

I am not trusting of this Pharmacy anymore. They disregarded me and risked harming my family. I requested a specific item to be ordered for a loved one that can not be bought anywhere but Walmart or online. Ordering with the pharmacy was suppose to be next day arrival. However, a staff member made a mistake about the info of the product so they never ordered the product; I found out the following day. Instead of being caring and professional by admitting the truth they lied to my face with a smile, mockery, and told a lie about not being able to sell it to me because it was not put into their system. The next day they kept the lie going; either this day or the following day they kept me on hold and said they did not have it because it was on back order. I pressed them for the truth. I was on hold so long that the phone answered itself and I overheard the truth. The employee did not take enough info for the item (Note: I handed the WIC Voucher to them to record the info), they did not care to ask me for the correct info on the phone or in person. (Note they called but I missed the call as I have a busy life. However, I showed up in person and they continued to lie.) The supervisor/boss decided to not purchase the items and not care about me nor my family. They put the phone back on hold. Once they picked up the phone they kept their lie. I decided to not confront their disgusting behavior. I waited and thought what to do during the next few hours. I confided in my mother and she went to the Pharmacy with me to order the required products. Whether I look 18 to them or not, respect is respect.
The order of items was for my infant son who is lactose intolerant. He requires a special type of baby formula. There are only two types of formula for the brand we needed. No one in the pharmacy cared about why I could need what I ordered. Either way this brand is only for children so it gave them a hint.
I say this so others can be aware of the professionalism of this location. It has been around a month since this occured but this cannot just be forgotten. Others should be warned. Be careful and press them to do their jobs calmly.
