I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at LensCrafters. On July 18, 2026, my son was prescribed STELLEST lenses, which is clearly written in all caps on his prescription. I paid $250 for his prescription and coverage for his doctor visits for the year.
When we went to LensCrafters, the associate helped us select his glasses. I trusted that the prescription was being followed correctly, especially since STELLEST was clearly indicated on the prescription. I had no reason to believe we were receiving anything other than what his doctor prescribed.
About a month later, during my son’s follow-up appointment, his doctor informed me that the lenses he received were not the lenses he was supposed to have.
While the staff apologized and offered a discount, that does not erase the inconvenience or, more importantly, the fact that this involves my child’s vision. I now have to make additional trips, rearrange my schedule, and go back and forth between offices to correct something that should have been done correctly the first time.
I understand that mistakes happen, but when it comes to a child’s vision, I expect much more attention to detail and communication. If a specific lens is clearly prescribed, I should be able to trust that the correct lens is being ordered and provided.
I hope LensCrafters takes this situation seriously and improves communication between their locations and eye-care providers so another parent doesn’t have to go through the same experience.

I paid a good bit for my glasses and have been told my glasses have not delivered to the store for pick up they’re now lost. I’m reporting the matter to my bank and dont recommend this business to anyone . You are better off ordering your own frames and taking them else where to get your prescription placed in for way cheaper!!
Update: Spoke with the manager and was told
my glasses were shipped to a former employee. A police report should be filed but was not discussed which is unethical and unprofessional. Will update soon.

The staff at Kennesaw LensCrafters is absolutely awesome! Their customer service is impeccable, and everyone is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. You never feel rushed—they take the time to understand what you’re looking for, help you find frames that fit you perfectly, and make sure you get the best package your insurance offers.
I had the pleasure of working with the manager, Michael, and he is truly the best! I also worked with Forest and Daniel, and they were both incredibly helpful and professional.
I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I’m definitely a customer for life!
Thank you, guys, for making the entire experience so easy and enjoyable!

The store manager, Michael J, was awesome. He was the first face I encountered, he greeted me and took care of my glasses adjustment right way. He informed me that anytime I needed my glasses maintained I could come in, even if they were purchased somewhere else. The service was quick and easy. I will be returning.

Sammy at LensCrafters was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed. He made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Excellent customer service like his is hard to find. I highly recommend asking for Sammy if you visit LensCrafters!
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
