  All the staff were super nice and helpful! The eye doctor was thorough and answered all my questions. I’ll definitely be going back!!

  Dr Cung was very thorough in his examination and very patient with my mother who has dementia. Great eye appointment!

  Alyssa, the lady that checked me in and did the initial testing was not very polite, and was rushing me along. She asked if I saw the text about the copay, and I said "I didn't really read it, but I saw it was $110+ dollars...what is that for?". She proceeded to tell me that it was because I wanted contacts. So I told her I would not get contacts because I didn't want to pay that. She said "it would be $25then, and to sit down". I sat, and continued with the testing because when I was going to pay, I was going to show here where I don't have a copay. When I go to check out and I tell her I don't have a copay, she states "yes, you don't have a copay for the exam, but you do for retinal imaging." I didn't want retinal imaging, she never asked me if I wanted it. That is an optional service, she should have asked me or told me that was what the $35 she mentioned is, before doing it!!!!! I do believe she provides poor customer service like this all the time, and also, it was after 5, so I do believe she was rushing to leave. I will never utilize this Target Optical again. This was my first time using them, and it was a big mistake. I am trying to call this morning to speak with Astria, the manager, but so far all I'm getting is the voicemail, which is full, so I can't even leave a message. **update** they agent knowingly gave me the wrong managers name. Now I have to wait to get a call from the correct manager!!!

  Dr. Cung at the Hiram Target Optical center deserves an award for excellent customer service. His warm approach is calming for someone who doesn’t like doctors. He treats kids and adults with the same care, attention, and knowledge share. The time he takes to answer your questions… giving answers that inform without dumbing it down… but yet you’re in and out and onto the rest of your day! He’s excellent. Highly recommend.
