Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Absolutely awful! I mean so bad. My husband has been getting his prescription here for over two years now. We call today to get it refilled even though he is on automatic refills. And they say they need to call the provider. 4 hours later we call the pharmacy nothing and the provider they go to send it in. We get to pharmacy nothing. So we have to call the provider again. She calls while we are on the phone and they are supposed to be filling it. We go wait in the car we are an hour from home but it’s close to work and where we used to live. My husband goes in after 30 minutes. And they didn’t look at the computer so they haven’t filled it. He comes back in the car for five minutes and they text them saying they are out of it. This is ridiculous. We have talked multiple times about the medication and you had no idea it was out

This Kroger pharmacy sucks! Pulled up to the window to get my antibiotic prescription & the new rude girl (DREKIA) started asking me if I have mood disorders or if I was depressed?!? she said my dr had called in a new medication for mood disorders? I looked on my Kroger app and spoke with the pharmacist (KATE) who is not very nice and very condescending as well! there is NO prescription for Mood disorders on my meds list ! So WHY is she asking me that ? My husband was there and heard the whole thing! Transferring my whole family’s prescriptions to Publix across the street. Will NOT be using this Kroger pharmacy again. This pharmacy used to be the BEST ! I had been using them for 8 years ! Good Riddance! YOU SUCK!

Service takes a billion years and the blonde girl at the drive thru was incredibly rude with an impatient attitude. I know it’s 2pm and you just got back from lunch but at least act like you work in customer service instead if making me be polite for the both of us.

Most experiences are good here but I did have a lady with a stank attitude one time.
