If it wasn’t for Mr. Julian here at OneLife, I would have never gotten a membership. He had always been a great help, really friendly, and he makes the best protein shakes!! This is literally my 2nd home and Mr. Julian makes it feel exactly like that!!

Front desk people are amazing especially Asia and Camera. Love them. I worked out with Tiffany for 1 year and she is the best. I am taking a break but I hope to get back with Tiffany ASAP. She is very knowledgeable and inspiring. She got me in prime shape and I am 67!
I enjoy coming in early mornings when it’s not so crowded. Bethany is an absolute legend when it comes personal training. Everyone is so friendly here.
On the cleanliness side of things…. Not so much. They need someone here full time cleaning. The tanning bed room hasn’t ever been cleaned since I started 2 months ago. Some machines need service still after 2 months.

They had very friendly staff. The gym also has a big variety of gym equipment that is also spaced out allowing for everyone to freely exercise. Only issue is how many weights are laying around and not re-racked. This is usually not an issue, but it was an excessive amount of weights all around. It made me clean up every machine before my own personal workout: cleaning up previous weights, and wiping down the equipment. Overall the gym was not bad just not as clean as other locations.

I’ve been a member of LA Fitness for over 10 years, but I recently realized I needed a change because the service and overall upkeep had declined significantly. During the ice storm back in January, I decided to visit Onelife Fitness in Douglasville since it was one of the only gyms open. I was extremely impressed. The Douglasville location was clean, well-maintained, and the customer service was impeccable. It truly felt like a gym that values hospitality and its members.
I recently moved to Buckhead and decided to check out the Sandy Springs location. At first, I loved it—until one morning when I came in and had an unfortunate experience with an African American guy with curly hair at the front desk. My app was not working due to poor Wi-Fi, so I politely asked for assistance. Instead of helping professionally, he huffed, puffed, rolled his eyes, and asked for my phone number in a dismissive manner.
I was honestly shocked and felt completely disrespected as a new member. My app eventually started working, and I let him know, but the damage was already done. No customer should be made to feel like they don’t matter, especially right at the front desk.
Because of that experience, I now avoid going in the mornings during his shift. I never expected to feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome at a gym I genuinely enjoyed. I was considering reaching out to the manager, Cameron, but I’m not sure it’s even worth it at this point. To wake up and drive 15 mins-20 mins and receive that type of service, I could stay at LA fitness up the street from me.
It’s disappointing because you may be losing a member who truly loved the gym.
