I really wanted to love this gym . Unfortunately, after eight months, I decided to cancel my membership due to ongoing issues with the Kids Club.
Despite multiple conversations with management and even a complaint to corporate, I saw no meaningful improvement. My daughter was told she would have to leave on two separate occasions for what I felt was typical 4-year-old behavior, despite my paying for her membership and expecting age-appropriate guidance from trained staff. She was also bitten twice within a two-week period, with one incident leaving a bruise.
As a regular member since the gym opened, I was disappointed by the lack of resolution. It often felt like the focus was on quantity over quality rather than providing a consistent experience for loyal members. If childcare is important to your family, I do not recommend . I hope management prioritizes clearer policies, better staff training, and more consistent communication with parents.

Great staff, great upgraded equipment, great environment, spacious many different options. As a 🏋️♂️ gym junkie, I must say im a fan! This is not some simple fitness center with little to no weights for heavy lifters. This place has it all and caters to all.
I went to this gym for a handful of months during a summer job. Paula was very kind and understanding when I had a misunderstanding with the membership policies, and made it right as a proclamation of good will. The amenities are also up-to-date and well maintained. I especially like the almond scented hand soap.

I truly am obsessed with coming to Onelife! I cannot say enough good things about the gym, amenities, and staff.
The staff is so kind and the front desk is always friendly and welcoming. I have my two children which I bring into the child watch area regularly. The staff knows their names, and truly does a great job of connecting with them and playing with them. I never see them on their phones or acting standoffish to the kids. They are always very involved playing and interacting with them.
The Gym itself has an amazing array of equipment and machinery. I always feel like I am able to get exactly what I need, when I need it, or find a substitute if it is taken. The layout is incredible and even during busy hours I never feel overcrowded. The trainers are always a very friendly on the floor and very courteous of other gym goers and their space.
On the topic of trainers, I cannot say enough good things about Deeno. You can tell he really loves what he does and the people that he works with. I am usually not a class taker, but it is very rare that I miss one of his Burn on the turf classes. They are high energy, challenging, and motivating. I have seen such an improvement in my endurance and strength just by taking his classes alone. I love the energy that being on the turf in the gym brings. The camaraderie, the variety of equipment that we can use, and the motivation from the other gym goers around us creates a next to none environment. With that, I am disappointed to hear that it has been moved in to the studio classroom. The class is growing in size week by week, rightfully so, and moving it into the studio classroom only causes it to be overcrowded, hot, and you lack the variety of workouts you can do with the lack of equipment in there. The studio room is great for other classes, just not this one. I’m not sure if it was a scheduling thing or size thing, but I feel like there can be many things done to keep it on the turf before moving it into the studio room.
One thing I love about this gym is I do feel like the management takes into consideration the once and needs of its numbers. I have so many great things to say about this gym and I hope that my suggestions are understood and listened to. I still highly recommend this gym too many people and have encouraged multiple people. I know to join one life and will continue to do so.

I joined OneLife Fitness Hamilton Mill in February, and it has truly been one of the best investments I've made in myself. When I first joined, I was hesitant about coming to the gym, but from the very beginning I felt welcomed, accepted, and encouraged by both the staff and members.
One of my favorite classes is Laina's Tuesday Boot Camp. She is absolutely amazing. Laina does an incredible job of meeting people where they are while still challenging them to push beyond their comfort zones. I've met so many wonderful people through her classes, and her positive energy makes every workout enjoyable.
Then there is Deeno. I honestly cannot say enough great things about him and his Burn on the Turf classes. Since I started attending, I have noticed a significant improvement in my confidence, fitness level, and overall quality of life. His classes challenge me, motivate me, and have become a major part of my weight loss journey. The community he has built is something special. Everyone encourages one another, celebrates victories, and pushes each other to keep going. It's one of the main reasons I continue showing up week after week.
That is why it is so disappointing to learn that all of the Burn on the Turf classes have been moved from the turf to the main studio. The turf space is what makes these classes work. With 25-30 participants, equipment, and limited room, the studio becomes overcrowded, uncomfortable, and extremely hot. The energy, movement, and overall experience are simply not the same.
I was excited when additional 5:30 a.m. class opportunities were added because early mornings fit my schedule perfectly. However, moving all of the Burn on the Turf classes into the studio significantly changes the experience, and unfortunately not for the better.
I share this feedback because I genuinely love this gym, the trainers, and the community. However, if Burn on the Turf remains in the studio long-term, I honestly do not see how I can continue participating in these classes under those conditions. The lack of space and overcrowding take away from what made the program so effective and enjoyable. I sincerely hope management will reconsider and return these classes to the turf where they belong.
Overall, OneLife Hamilton Mill has had a positive impact on my health and wellness journey, and I am grateful for the people who have helped me along the way. My hope is that member feedback will be considered so that Burn on the Turf can continue to be the outstanding program that so many of us have come to love.
