The overall lack of leadership from the new Regional Manager, Jack, has been incredibly disappointing. This gym used to be a great place to come—not just because of the equipment, but because of the family and community atmosphere that had been built here over the years. Unfortunately, that feeling has quickly disappeared under the new leadership. It would be nice to see Jack actually interact with members and become part of the community instead of sitting at a table and appearing disconnected from the very people who support this gym. At the same time, employees who were the face of this location and who worked hard to build relationships with members have been pushed out. Leadership is more than having a title. It means being present, engaging with people, setting the example, and being willing to do the same things you expect from your employees. From a member's perspective, that type of leadership simply isn't happening right now. OneLife needs to recognize what made this location special in the first place: the people and the community they created. I hope they recognize the mistakes being made and make changes before it's too late and even more longtime members decide this no longer feels like the gym they once enjoyed being part of.

I have been going to One life gym for 4 plus years and my experience has been very good ! I recently found out that Misselisa will no longer be working there because of the regional manager could not work out their differences in regards to her working hours. With her 9 years of service to this Gym location she will be greatly missed by me and the members of One life Gym ! So sad 😞 they could not figure this out !!

I am absolutely disgusted with the direction Onelife Fitness has taken. What was once a family-oriented gym with great staff, good people, and a clean, welcoming club has become a place where it feels like money is the only thing that matters. I have been coming to the Windermere location since the beginning, and Melissa Ryan is the main reason I have stayed as long as I have. She is, without question, one of the best employees Onelife has. She goes above and beyond, she is genuinely kind, she is helpful, and she actually makes members feel valued. She is exactly the type of employee a company should be doing everything possible to KEEP. And yet, somehow, Onelife has decided that getting rid of someone like Melissa is a good business decision. I honestly cannot believe it. You want to know why people leave? This is why. Onelife is perfectly happy to take your money month after month, but when members ask for something to actually be addressed or improved, suddenly the answer seems to be “pay more.” You take and take, while the things that actually made this gym worth belonging to continue to disappear. Melissa leaving is the final straw for me. I will be canceling my membership. If one of the best people representing your company isn’t valued enough to stay, then I have absolutely no reason to continue giving Onelife my money. Onelife Fitness has completely lost the plot. You have taken something that once felt like a community and turned it into a business that seems far more interested in collecting membership fees than taking care of the people who pay them. If you are considering joining a gym, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. There are plenty of places that would be happy to have your money, and, hopefully, actually value their members and their good employees. Melissa deserved better than this, and so do the members.

I am extremely disappointed in the fact that OneLife Windemere is not doing everything they can to retain their excellent employees. I was sad to hear that Melissa R is now leaving --because she can't work till 7:30pm every night. She has been working with you for over nine years and has never had to work till 7:30 PM before. She is the welcoming face when I walk in my gym! I enjoy watching her set the example for her children and their friends about a healthy lifestyle. I can't believe that you're letting an employee go because you will not work around family. Your advertising conveys that "we are welcome here because we are part of the family" and then you let a family member go. Your people are what sets you apart from the thousands of gym choices. Your people make the difference. I don't understand how you don't see that value!!!! You must do better! I think you need to reconsider your decision. You have my information in the membership data. I do expect a return call. But please do not have the call come from "Jack the statue" That man just sits in the lobby on his computer like he is part of the decor. Have someone in actual leadership above him call me please.

This gym is just OK. They have all the essentials, and then some but they are seriously lacking some of the machines mostly commonly used. One great example is the Peck Deck. They literally only have ONE machine. It’s always being used and if you want to use it, prepare to wait. Which leads me to my second issue. This gym is swamped with teens and unless you plan to get in there at 6am, it’s going to be super busy at all hours. Be prepared to wait for the equipment you want or be ultra flexible which equipment you use. It’s very very difficult to build a specific plan and go from one thing to another without waiting on a group of teens, who are typically doing more socializing and phone watching than anything else. They are also the first to come bug the hell out of you mid set to ask how many sets you have after you just waited 10-15min to get on a machine. The bottom line is this gym is more a social club for teens than a legit gym. It is far too busy for serious workout routines and it turns 1hr workouts into 1.5 hrs due to all the waiting. Very frustrating. I am seriously considering dropping my membership. If there was another option reasonably close I would have done so already
