If you’re looking for work try elsewhere or expect pay delays.

My wife, very shortly, was employed here at Visiting Angels MIDTOWN (I specify MIDTOWN as I’m aware that this is an independent franchise). Upon her having a life altering situation she was unable to continue with employment with the company. Deborah Cargle, along side CEO Patricia Goodgame, has since then refused to issue payment for the hours my wife worked with their company. She (my wife) left a review, detailing, what is now being considered “retaliation” with the hopes of notifying future clients, as well as any possible future candidates for employment of how Patricia Goodgame and Deborah Cargle choose to handle matters. This is not only unwarranted, it’s illegal in the eyes of GDOL and will be dealt with accordingly. Do NOT choose this company to care for your family!

I was offered employment with Visiting Angels MIDTOWN 01/15/2026, I started work 01/16/2026- 01/21/2026 with the company, however, due to life changes I needed to back home (a completed different city). Visiting Angels MIDTOWN has since then decided AGAINST compensating me for the time that was worked. Be wise when seeking comfort care for your family as this plays a major role in “when” & “if” you will receive the care your family member needs during their process.
