StretchLab Morningside provides one-on-one assisted stretching focused on relieving back pain, tight hips, poor posture, and muscle tension. Our certified Flexologists help improve mobility, enhance athletic performance, and support recovery for runners, golfers, and active adults. Whether you’re dealing with stiffness from sitting, injury recovery, or looking to move better, our customized stretch sessions are designed to help you feel and perform at your best.
I started going to Stretchlab in Morningside to help improve my flexibility and mobility. I could not be happier with the quality of care from all the different flexologists I have worked with over the past six months. My range of motion has improved dramatically allowing me to be more active whether it is walking in the neighborhood or playing golf. I no longer wake up stiff and soar every morning. I highly recommend Stretchlab if you have a restricted range of motion due to tight muscles.

On Friday, I called to book a stretch/massage session for my wife as a Mother’s Day gift. I spoke with Barrie (who I later found out is the owner). During the call, I specifically asked about a Groupon code I had seen online. He told me that Groupon and those types of promotions were not accepted at their location, so I went ahead and paid the full price of $115 for the session. What is frustrating is that instead of simply saying, “we don’t take Groupon, but we do offer 50% off for first-time clients,” nothing else was mentioned. I gave all of my wife’s information when booking, so it was completely clear this was her first visit.
My wife went for the appointment and later told me they were advertising 50% off for first sessions. At that point, I realized I had been charged full price despite there being an active first-time client promotion that was never disclosed during the booking call.
I called back and eventually spoke with Barrie again. His explanation was that I “only asked about Groupon” and that the 50% discount is supposedly only for people “testing the place” for a future membership. That explanation makes no sense. If a customer is actively asking about discounts and promotions while booking a first-time appointment, the honest and customer-friendly thing to do is disclose the available first-time offer instead of staying silent and charging full price.
What makes this even more frustrating is that nowhere on their website does it say this promotion is restricted only to people “testing memberships.” The promotion is simply advertised as a first-time introductory offer, without all the extra conditions he later tried to add during the phone call after the fact.
What bothers me most is that this came directly from the owner. Instead of trying to make things right, I felt dismissed and taken advantage of. Very poor business practice and an awful first impression.

I inquired online about their first stretch discount, and they called me so frequently I had to block their number! Felt like they’re desperate to sell memberships. Pro-tip: do not give them your phone number!

Just started at Stretch Lab, and it this far the best decision. Everyone I've met has been great. Very helpful and patient answering all of my questions. Thank you - Ana, Kyra, Dr. Lexi, Barry, and the rest of the team.
