The front desk staff often came across as very distracted, and even routine things seemed to take much longer than they should. Last year, I tried to get my contact lens rebate processed and was sent the wrong form three separate times. I had to repeatedly follow up over the course of nearly two months before I finally received the correct paperwork. It was an unnecessarily frustrating process for something that should have been very straightforward. More recently, I received a call from the office and explained that I was switching to a different eye doctor because I now live farther away and wanted somewhere more convenient. Despite clearly communicating that, I have continued receiving calls from the office asking me to confirm an appointment. Overall, my experience has been a pattern of poor communication, inefficient front desk service, and a lack of attention to what the patient is actually telling them. I ultimately decided to take my business elsewhere, and unfortunately, these experiences reinforced that decision.
