Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

The Asian male pharmacist I encountered was extremely rude, unprofessional, and, in my experience, discriminatory when I attempted to purchase syringes—essential medical supplies that I need for a legitimate medical condition.
What makes this experience particularly disturbing is that I have had numerous prescriptions filled through Kroger and have an established history as a pharmacy patient. Yet I was treated as though there were some reason to suspect unlawful activity simply for attempting to purchase syringes.
I am deeply concerned about what assumption was made about me and why. Pharmacists certainly have professional responsibilities, but discretion should be based on objective circumstances not stereotypes, profiling, or arbitrary suspicion. I left this interaction feeling singled out, demeaned, and discriminated against. Kroger should seriously review this pharmacist’s conduct and how customers are being treated at this location.

If there’s a delay in filling your prescription, they do not let you know. You just find out when days have passed and not heard from them. This has happened multiple times. Then trying to get a person on the phone is an exercise in futility.

I have had nothing but good experiences here since November. The pharmacist, Tuan really took time to explain the new medications to me at a veryscary time in my life. Pharmacist Chuka has been very helpful on the phone when I needed something expedited as well. I have never had any issues getting through to them on the phone unlike other pharmacies.

1. Get a paper scrip from your Dr.
2. Drop it off.
3. Go back a day or two later and pick it up.
Everything is helter skelter right now with Covid going on. Some Pharmacists are working multiple stores, employees may have been hired just hours ago, etc., etc.
Think sunshine and blues skies. It will get better.
