Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rachel and Brandi at the Kroger Pharmacy. They are truly the gold standard for customer care and have made such a positive difference for my family over the years. What stands out most is their consistency. Every single time we visit, they greet us with genuine smiles, kindness, patience, and a willingness to help. No matter how busy they are, they always take the time to answer questions, offer thoughtful advice, and make sure we fully understand our medications. Rachel is an exceptional pharmacist whose knowledge and attention to detail give me tremendous peace of mind. She has gone above and beyond on multiple occasions, including taking extra time to carefully review my son’s medications to ensure there would be no allergic reactions or adverse interactions. Knowing that she truly cares about her patients’ well-being means more than words can express. One act of kindness I will never forget was when I was running late from work and desperately needed to pick up my son’s antibiotic. Rachel stayed past closing time so I could get the medication he needed. That level of dedication and compassion is incredibly rare and speaks volumes about the kind of person she is. Brandi is equally amazing—friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. They are the reason I continue to choose Kroger Pharmacy. Their exceptional service, compassion, and commitment to their patients deserve the highest recognition. Thank you, Rachel and Brandi, for everything you do. Our family is truly grateful for your care and kindness.

Do yourself a favor and find any other pharmacy. It took over a month and a half for my prescription to be ready. On another occasion I had my doctor send over a prescription after my appointment and they said it would be ready the next day but told my doctors office it wouldn’t be ready for 8 days. It sucks it wouldn’t be ready but they could’ve been transparent & I could’ve had it sent elsewhere to get it sooner. Not only were they rude and misleading to me but also to my doctors office. Find any other pharmacy if you can.

Really grateful for all of the very kind folks who work here. Every time I visit they help me bring the cost of my meds down with a discount card without me even having to ask. Today they also got an antibiotic ready for me earlier than was scheduled on the app so I could start treatment asap. I really appreciate all their help.
