- DRdarling rangelAug 26, 20262.0I brought my mother today to get surgical extractions. The doctor was professional and courteous but the ladies at the front desk even though they say they explained the procedure codes!!! They still didn’t informed us about the pre-authorization they were supposed to send to my mother’s dental insurance and charged her an advance office visit fee deposit of almost $ 200. They stated the insurance did not cover it. So she called the insurance and they said that in order for them to cover all the procedures they have to receive the pre- authorization request and THEN approve after 14 days of request. So now she has to wait 1 day before her next procedure appointment in order to make sure all the extractions will be covered.
