The gym itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but unfortunately very disorganized. I visited twice. On my first visit, there was a group class happening and the music was EXTREMELY loud. It was nearly impossible to have a normal conversation about the membership plans, so we had to move to a quieter area just to be able to hear each other. During that visit, we scheduled a trial class for me to come back and try the gym.
When I returned for my scheduled trial class, I found out that the receptionist has forgotten to actually book it and the class was already full. Another receptionist assisted me, took my phone number and told me they would contact me, but I never received a call.
Very disappointing experience.

WIND ATHLTX is hands down the most premier gym in South Florida. I love everything about it but mostly my girl Dani! Dani is AMAZING!!! She takes Mat and Reformer Pilates to the next level. I feel every movement and she’s so good at correcting form so you’re getting the most out of your workout. I make sure I take her class every time it’s offered.
Thank you Dani! And Thank you WIND!!!

WIND ATHLTX forever has my heart! I love the variety of classes they have. You get the luxury of having 8 different memberships all in ONE gym. I love the vibe. 20/10 recommend! I love seeing the instructors taking each other’s classes as well. You know the support is real at that point. Definitely worth every dime ❤️🔥

Aminah at the gym bar is amazing! She is always friendly, welcoming, and provides excellent customer service. She greets everyone with a smile, makes drinks quickly, and always has a positive attitude. She goes above and beyond to make members feel comfortable and appreciated. Her professionalism and kindness make every visit to the gym even better. If you get the chance, definitely stop by and let Aminah take care of you—you won’t be disappointed!
“To the management and ownership,”
As an athlete who developed my foundation at House of Athlete, I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the current direction of this facility. For me, this gym was never just a business; it was my therapy, my community, and the place that fueled my growth as a softball player. I will never forget the time spent in the batting cages—those late-night sessions with my coach were my true therapy, a space where I could focus, refine my swing, and grow.
Because of this new direction, the culture is gone. There will be no more 'tribe on me' sessions after a workout—that sense of unity and shared struggle that pushed us to be better is being dismantled.
It is important to remember that it was the memberships and the dedication of athletes like me that helped build this gym from the ground up and put it on the map. We invested our time, our effort, and our money into this brand when it was growing, and we were instrumental in shaping the environment that made it special. While I understand that the facility has been sold and ownership has changed, it is fundamentally unfair to turn around and shut the door on the very athletes whose support helped create your success.
Implementing an 18+ policy is an act of total disinclusion. It effectively discards the younger athletes who were already training here and investing in their craft. You are prioritizing a new direction at the expense of the community that actually built the foundation you are now operating on. You make your choices, but these are not very smart choices—you are turning away the same core demographic that made this place what it was.
It is sad to see what this gym has become. I will always be grateful for the role this place played in launching my softball career, but it is deeply unfortunate to see the new management prioritize exclusivity over the development of the athletes they originally inherited but once again thank you to this gym for all that it gave me.
Long live House of Athlete.
