  At first, this worker was nice, but I have to say that the experience turned out to be pretty dishonest, with very little intention of actually helping us. His name is Noel. My husband and I stopped by to ask for advice on a pre-workout. He recommended one of the most expensive ones and acted like he didn’t really know much about the other options. We bought it with a buy one get one 50% off promotion, but literally about four minutes later, we decided to exchange it for something else. When we went back into the store, he tried to return only one of the items, which would have caused us to lose the promotion. We had to bring that up ourselves. He told us that was the only way the system would allow him to do it, and after we insisted on returning everything and purchasing the new items again, he still made very little effort to help us. We had also received an extra 10% off for subscribing to the emails. When we asked if he could apply that same 10% again to the new purchase, we got the same answer “the system wouldn’t let him.” This is honestly very disappointing. I remember going into GNC and not only finding employees who were knowledgeable, but also kind and honest about the products they were selling. I understand that sales are part of the job, but when it becomes all about selling more instead of actually helping the person in front of you, it completely changes the experience.
