- GAGeri AllardSep 17, 20265.0I went into MDS Medical Store in Venice with my 89-year-old mom to buy her a new walker, and we had such a great experience with Hal. I originally had my eye on a nicer blue 4-wheel walker with a seat so Mom could sit down if she got tired. Hal listened to what I was looking for, but then he took the time to watch my mom walk with both her current style of walker and the 4-wheel walker. He explained that because of her age and the type of walker she was already comfortable using, the safest and best choice for her was actually a new walker just like the one she already had. It was only $99—much less expensive than the one I originally wanted to buy. What impressed me even more was that Hal took the time to show my mom how to properly use her walker, teaching her to stay inside the frame and walk more upright instead of hunched over. I was so impressed with Hal’s professionalism, patience, and empathy. He wasn’t trying to sell us the most expensive option—he genuinely cared about what was safest and best for my mom. I highly recommend Hal and MDS Medical Store for anyone needing medical equipment or supplies. Thank you, Hal, for taking such good care of my mom! ❤️
