  I originally went to Florida ENT + Allergy because I was trying to figure out what was causing my anaphylaxis. But, I left Florida ENT feeling like they did very little to actually investigate what was going on. The one useful thing that came from that visit was being sent for an allergy blood test panel. That testing ended up being useful later when I saw Dr. Parrino. Other than that, Florida ENT + Allergy (Bruce B Downas) made very little effort to go through my symptoms or figure out what may have caused the reaction. Instead of doing the kind of investigation I expected from an actual allergy specialist, I was prescribed an EpiPen and basically told to go about my day, such a huge help! Not really... The Florida ENT visit was a huge regret. I went there looking for answers and left without any real explanation of what happened or what might have caused it. I was dealing with an ENT private medical partnership that also handles allergies (no bueno), rather than someone whose main focus was actually working through allergy cases with patients. In my experience, it felt more like dealing with glorified ENT surgeons looking for a quick cash grab than someone who was going to actually sit down and investigate the problem. Parrino actually sat with me and went through the events with that lead to my shock. He breaks everything down into a timeline and starts working backward and forward through what happened. What did you eat? When did you eat it? How long afterward did the symptoms start? What happened first? What happened next? Were there other foods, medications, activities, or exposures involved? That may sound simple, but it makes a big difference when you are trying to remember something that happened during a reaction. He asks questions that can bring back details you would not necessarily think were important on your own. The goal is not just to look at a blood test and tell you what it says. It is to put the test results together with what actually happened to you. That is what I wanted from the beginning; in fact, this is what anyone should want... I have no reason to write this other than my own experience. I genuinely wish I had gone to Parrino first instead of wasting my time and money elsewhere. I know everyone is going to have a different experience with doctors, and I am sure some people will have had a completely different experience than I did. But honestly, half the battle is figuring out whether you are even seeing the right doctor in the first place. If you are dealing with an unexplained allergic reaction or symptoms and want someone who will actually sit down with you and work through what happened, I strongly recommend seeing Parrino before settling for an evaluation that leaves you with more questions than answers. My experience with Florida ENT + Allergy was frustrating and, honestly, not helpful beyond getting the blood test panel. My experience with Parrino was completely different. He actually took the time to investigate the situation and work with me to figure out what information mattered. If you are looking for an allergy doctor who will actually listen, ask questions, and investigate what happened instead of simply handing you a prescription and sending you on your way... no thanks to Florida ENT, and ty Parrino

  Dr. Parrion and his wife Nurse Mary have the experience you would want from an Allergist Immunologist. Dr Parrion has been treating me from chronic urticaria ( HIVES) I developed over 8 months ago. I can say at this time I'm hive free!!!!! I was very was impressed with the time he spends on his patients. If you suffer from chronic hives make an appointment.

  I've been with Dr. Parrino for many years now. I sing his praises. Not many allergists deal with insect allergies and personalize the treatment to YOU vs the 'general area'. He's a great listener and truly wants to help me without rushing! His staff is great as well!

  I had my first appointment with Dr. Parrino several months ago concerning my allergies and I was surprised at how thorough he listens to you. He does not rush you in the office visit and seems very concerned with a solution. When you leave the office you have a print out that you can go over at home. I would definitely recommend this caring physician. The office staff is extremely helpful and pleasant.

  Mi nombre es Luis cespedes y fui passiente del doctor del cual yo como persona y de su atencion no tengo queja alguna, mis quejas son de su esposa y de la asistente la cual no creo que debería estar trabajando en ese lugar, luego de saber a lo que yo era alergico se demoraron para la vacuna y tuve que irme de la clinica creo que deberían cambiar a la asistente y esposa del doctor...
