  My husband scheduled an appointment on 9/26/26 at 5:00 PM at the Citrus Park Mall location. We specifically chose that time because it was the only time we were both available. I was also planning to accompany him so he could have his pupils dilated during the eye exam. The appointment was booked online, and at no point was there any disclaimer stating that pupil dilation would not be available at that time. We also never received a phone call informing us of this limitation. Instead, we received multiple calls asking us to change the appointment time. We repeatedly explained that we were unavailable at any other time, yet the calls continued. The persistence was excessive and honestly quite frustrating. When we arrived for our scheduled appointment and informed the staff that my husband wanted his pupils dilated, we were told that it could not be done because he was the last patient of the day and the staff could not stay longer to allow for the dilation process. At that moment, we finally understood why they had been so insistent about changing our appointment time. This information should have been clearly disclosed when the appointment was booked or communicated during one of the many phone calls we received. Failing to do so is extremely unprofessional and shows a lack of respect for customers’ time. Your office has a $25 no-show fee policy. Perhaps you should consider compensating customers when they drive several miles to a scheduled appointment, only to be denied the service they specifically came for because your staff is in a hurry to leave. Does the customer’s time not matter? Is only your staff’s time valuable? Gas is expensive, and customers deserve transparency, consideration, and professional service. I sincerely hope the owner of this optometry practice reads this review and takes the necessary steps to address this unacceptable experience. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

  Dr Panetta and the entire team at Lens Crafters, Citrus Park Mall were amazing! In addition to everyone being very professional and knowledgeable, they were also very warm and friendly. It was a very wonderful experience.
