As the only dedicated pediatric ER in North Hillsborough and East Pasco Counties, our care team delivers immediate medical attention in the most critical of circumstances. The AdventHealth for Children pediatric emergency room covers everything from high fevers and troubled breathing to severe pain and accidents and everything in between. The pediatric ER is staffed by board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physicians and specially trained nurses as well as Child Life specialists and open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer separate waiting and triage areas, rooms designed to be child-friendly and scare-free, and specialized equipment made just for kids to provide treatments with speed and accuracy.
