  Dr. Christopher Mutai is truly exceptional, and Pearle Vision is incredibly lucky to have him! He took the time to get to know me and understand exactly what I needed from my glasses. I had him go back and forth between different lenses multiple times, and he never made me feel rushed or like I was being difficult. He genuinely wanted to make sure we got everything right, down to the smallest of details with reading my letters. Because of the time and attention he gave me, I now have what feels like the perfect prescription. It’s rare to find someone who takes that much pride in making sure a patient is completely comfortable and satisfied. Dr. Mutai is a true asset to Provision. I’m incredibly grateful for his care and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for an optometrist.

  I was so disapointed today when I went in for an eye exam. I gave them my vision insurance information. They then asked for my medical insurance information. I was confused as to why but gave it. After they looked up my information they came out and told me that because I am diabetic they would have to use my medical insurance and due to me not meeting my deductable yet my exam alone would be over $140.00. I told her I don't think so, my doctor never sent me here, I see an Opthomologist for my diabetes, I am just looking to get new glasses. She said that she would ask the dr if we can just use my vision insurance. She came back and said the dr said that he would have to do the entire exam and then at the end of the exam he would have to see if they will be able to use the vision insurance. That is just rediculous and it feels like they are trying to scam insurance companies and people out of extra money. Iended up calling a few other eye exam places and none of them share their "policy" and found it weird that they would do that. I definitely won't be going back to them and suggest my friends and family stay clear of them as well.

  Wonderful experience , have had to go back several times for an adjustment and they are always very patient and helpful. Would not go anywhere else. Keep up the great work!

  This is the second time using this location and it keeps on getting better every time. I want to recognize Amanda, who is the manager of the location and Christina, who is a new associate that started this past week. Amanda was providing guidance to Christina to ensure my purchase of two new glasses went flawless. Thank you both for an incredible experience. I look forward to seeing you again in the future.

  Thoroughly displeased with the lack of customer service at this particular location in St. Johns, FL. I called and spoke with an employee before the appointment to confirm insurance. They stated I was covered and could use my insurance at the appointment. When it came time to pay, they said I was inactive on the insurance policy. I said no problem, we'll work with insurance company, rectify the issue ASAP and return to pay as soon as the system shows me as active. You have all my info and I've always paid all my bills. They were adamant that I pay out of pocket rather than extending me the courtesy of correcting the issue with the eye insurance company. Had they not already confirmed my insurance was active prior to the appointment, and I could use it for payment, I would have corrected the issue beforehand. They wanted me to take responsibility for their mistake.
