  This is the second time using this location and it keeps on getting better every time. I want to recognize Amanda, who is the manager of the location and Christina, who is a new associate that started this past week. Amanda was providing guidance to Christina to ensure my purchase of two new glasses went flawless. Thank you both for an incredible experience. I look forward to seeing you again in the future.

  Dr Mutai and his office staff are exceptional. Very knowledgeable of vision insurance and benefits. Very happy with the service I received!

  Thoroughly displeased with the lack of customer service at this particular location in St. Johns, FL. I called and spoke with an employee before the appointment to confirm insurance. They stated I was covered and could use my insurance at the appointment. When it came time to pay, they said I was inactive on the insurance policy. I said no problem, we'll work with insurance company, rectify the issue ASAP and return to pay as soon as the system shows me as active. You have all my info and I've always paid all my bills. They were adamant that I pay out of pocket rather than extending me the courtesy of correcting the issue with the eye insurance company. Had they not already confirmed my insurance was active prior to the appointment, and I could use it for payment, I would have corrected the issue beforehand. They wanted me to take responsibility for their mistake.

  I always have a great experience when I come to see Dr. Mutai. He is kind, friendly, and extremely thorough during eye exams. The staff is welcoming and makes you feel comfortable, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere. I’ve been a patient here for several years and continue to be very satisfied with the care I receive.
