  Set an appointment for 3pm. Showed up 10 minutes early. I was brought back with the young lady who checked me in at 2:50 and did the "pre-check". The optometrist was not seeing anyone at this time and was no where to be found. I was sent back out to waiting area. At 3:05pm the optometrist calls in a different customer. I left after waiting until 3:20pm. When I brought up my issue to an Optical employee, I was told that the optometrist is a different company that Target hires and they couldn't do anything about the situation.

  Over a year ago, I purchased three pairs of prescription glasses from Target Optical. Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward experience turned into a frustrating one. Everything seemed fine until I went to pick up my glasses. As soon as I tried on the first pair, I could immediately tell something was wrong. The staff compared the lenses to the prescription that Dr. Jordan had written and discovered the prescription in the lenses was completely different because it had been entered incorrectly. I then had to wait another two weeks for that pair to be remade. The second issue involved the other two pairs that were ordered at the same time. Before leaving the store, I specifically asked the technician to verify that those prescriptions were correct, and I was assured that everything was fine. However, after wearing them, I knew something wasn’t right. When I returned with my concerns, I was repeatedly told that there was nothing wrong with the glasses and that my eyes probably just needed time to adjust. Still concerned, I took all three pairs to another optical retailer to have the prescriptions checked. They confirmed that all three pairs had different prescriptions. By that point, I was told by target optical there was nothing that could be done because too much time had passed. I ended up wasting a significant amount of money on glasses that I couldn’t use. This experience was extremely disappointing. I expected greater attention to detail and better customer service, especially after raising my concerns multiple times.
