I've been a member of UFC Gym Plantation for years, and the main reason I've remained loyal has been my coach, Anthony. Unfortunately, my recent interaction with another coach, combined with ongoing concerns about the gym, has left me extremely disappointed. My concerns are straightforward: lack of organization, poor cleanliness, and an increasingly frustrating member experience. During peak hours, group classes frequently take over shared equipment and training areas, often making members who are paying for personal training feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. On several occasions, I've felt unwelcome simply for trying to use equipment in a shared space. Most recently, I was publicly singled out over the use of a single piece of equipment. That should never have happened. Equally concerning is the condition of the facility itself. The gym is often dusty, equipment is not consistently well maintained, and overall cleanliness frequently falls below what I would expect from a facility that markets itself as a premium gym. What is particularly frustrating is that the gym consistently promotes new products and competitions, while basic standards such as cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and effective space management continue to fall short. The facility is regularly dusty, equipment is not well maintained, and there seems to be little consideration for how group classes impact other paying members. I stayed because of my coach. Unfortunately, I am now seriously reconsidering my membership.

I first started going to this gym to do my own workouts. I slowly started doing more of the HIT classes and found I absolutely loved it. All of the coaches are great, especially Dayana. She constantly pushed me harder and always had the best workouts planned. She’s the best!

Matthew Vistoso should be ashamed to be the head manager of this UFC FIT location. Throwing Dana White’s reputation to the floor by running fraudulent transactions 1+ year after cancellation for the full annual too. Dishonest, Unprofessional, Reckless.

⭐ PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE SIGNING UP — MY EXPERIENCE WITH UFC FIT I’m sharing my experience because I want to caution others before they sign up with UFC Fit. Based on what happened to me, I strongly recommend considering another gym. I personally went to the gym to cancel my membership and spoke directly with Tyler. I clearly requested that my membership be canceled. During our conversation, Tyler told me he would give me 30 days of complimentary access in case my schedule allowed me to start attending the gym again. At no point was I told that I had to return within those 30 days, that I had to use the complimentary access, or that my membership would remain active if I did not return. Despite going there in person specifically to cancel, I later discovered that my membership was still considered active and that I was being charged. I returned to the gym and explained the entire situation to the manager, Ashlee. I told her that I had text messages with Tyler documenting our conversation. I also followed up with an email to the manager, but I never received a response. More than a year later, I was shocked to discover that UFC Fit had reportedly sent the account to collections for more than $270. What is most frustrating is that I made multiple efforts to address this situation directly and in person. In my experience, the conduct of the employees involved, including Tyler and manager Ashlee, was extremely dishonest and unprofessional. I was left feeling that money was being prioritized over customer service, accountability, and doing what was right. Unfortunately, my experience gave me the impression that this location is being run by inexperienced staff who do not properly follow through on what they tell customers. Even when you have written communication to support your side of the story, that apparently may not be enough to prevent issues. If you are thinking about signing up, my honest advice is to sign up somewhere else. I would not want another customer to go through the frustration, time, and stress that I experienced. There are plenty of gyms where you can spend your money without having to worry about whether your cancellation will actually be honored. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Your money and peace of mind are worth it.
