  Friendly doctor and staff. Dr.Holifield administered a thorough exam and explained all aspects of the exam. He didn’t have to dialate my eyes because they had a retinal imaging device for that purpose. I appreciated not having my eyes dilated. Thanks. 😊

  After some time I thought about leaving a bad review but I just have to share my experience. I went here because they were the only place to take my insurance. There were complications with my insurance that year they had just switched providers and paperwork had been a nightmare for all my doctors, eyes places and such. I received bills from all parties when i first moved here. This office was the most aggressive to get their money. So I paid. I paid all my dc bills, found out that was not good. Then claims can't process paperwork properly. I got all my money back from all other party's except this office. This was just one minor issue. My biggest issue was with the doctor himself. The office workers were kind and helpful as can be. When I went in for a routine eye check up and contacts fitting he spoke to me as if I've never had contact before. He told me that my prescription I've had for over 20 years was wrong. Then a year later changed it close to my original prescription stating, my prescription has changed. I think he refused to believe he can ever be wrong. After not changing for decades my prescription changed twice in two years, that seems unlikely. I tried things his way for two years. I was dizzy for two years! He never failed to mention how experienced he was and how many years he's been an eye doctor. He fails to realize machines only go so far and people can see and speak for themselves as well. This office was my only option so I went there reluctantly year after year. When I tried my contacts on he acted as if I was putting them in wrong. I also told him I was getting irritated with my eyes and I kept getting styes. He told me I had bad hygiene. Now I know that I have dry eyes and that's a common symptom of dry eye. My last day before moving I asked for my original prescription back so I can move on with my life and stop being dizzy the doctor refused to see me and gave me my prescription reluctantly. Also, back dating my prescription to when I first came in causing me to lose months of a good prescription. I'm moving a cross the US and those months are crucial for eye care. Until, I established a new address and find a new doctor I need a good prescription to see. I've moved and lived all over the United States and I've never had an experience like this. If you have Tricare, I encourage you to try a different office before coming here. I didn't feel heard at all and left disappointed everytime. I was disappointed because they have a lot of good reviews I don't see how he has so many good reviews. Update: this office continues to prove my point with their reply to MY experience. Gaslighting is real.

  It’s so lovely to come to Central Park Vision Center, Dr Micheal is excellent, making sure that my lenses and new glasses are perfect. They have a great range of frame styles and the staff are very helpful.
