Started off a little rough, but Dr Lowell has been great to deal with and heard my concerns both regarding my pain and experience getting to actually see him and get treatment. Pain is doing much better and we have a game plan to treat it. The office visits and treatment have been great, a little improvement in scheduling and phone assistance is needed.

My wife had lower back pain for two days—really awful back pain. I called and they gave us an appointment for Wednesday March 10 atv2:40 p.m. When she got there, they told her "No, no, this wasn’t her appointment, it was at the Hollywood office. She showed them the screenshot of the email they sent with the time and place, and the person just went, 'Oh, I don’t know why they sent you that—your appointment isn’t here, it’s in Hollywood, thirty minutes away.' She was in terrible pain , she’d waited two whole days for this, and in the end they wouldn’t even see her. The guy at the front desk treated her horribly—like, awful. The place is just… nasty. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Contradicting information from staff. I was in search of pain management treatments in my area and came across this center with raving reviews. However when inquired if they accepted my insurance the young lady who answere said they do not. The next day I receive a call saying they do infact. Today I called and the staff memeber who answered was very rude when I asked to confirm.
I am not sure if the staff member had a language barrier, I would like to give this center the benefit of the doubt. However it was evident that the tone was very dissmissive and even confrontational. No patient deserves such disrespect for inquiring about health insurance. This is a center who's purpose is to service patients, so why be dissmisive when one calls.
Do not recommend, even if your insurance covers this place. Take your medical insuance money else where.
This place is great at helping you manage your pain, but their staff like to perform deceptive billing practices, so be very careful before you agree to anything.
I Came to this place on Nov 4, 2025, on the referral from my neurosurgeon for severe lower back pain causing pain down my left leg. First visit, saw Dr. Davis and he recommended the epidural shot. Said he would have to make an appointment for a month from then saying it takes 3-4 weeks to get insurance authorization. I asked if I paid out of pocket, what would the cost be. Was told $377 for the shot, and they would still submit the claim to insurance. I agreed and paid to get the shot the same day. When I checked out, the billing office again said they would submit the claim to my insurance.
Second visit was 2 weeks later on Nov 20, 2025. Told the PA that the shot helped me tremendously and that it is starting to wear off. They performed a 2nd shot and again I paid out of pocket and again was I was told they would submit the claim to insurance.
In the Beginning of Dec, I contacted my insurance company and asked if any authorization was submitted by the facility for the first 2 shots and my insurance company said they had no record of any authorizations for the first 2 shots. They reached out to the facility but could not get anyone to answer the phone. They left a message but got no call back.
Went back to the facility on Dec 10, 2025, when I started having horrible pain again. Asked for a 3rd shot but this time, I asked the girl from the billing desk about the authorization for the first 2 shots. They now tell me they cannot submit for the auth for the first 2 shots but will definitely submit for the 3rd shot. Even showing me the paperwork to be submitted to insurance.
Today, Dec 15, 2025, I called my insurance company, and they still have no submission for the 3rd shot. They told me authorization for this should only take a few days once submitted, not 3-4 weeks. They said all 3 shots can be submitted, that they can do a retroactive authorization. They even reached out to the facility again and spoke to Karen, the office manager and asked why they were not submitting the claims. She said because I paid cash. Insurance told them they can still submit the claims and if approved, I would get reimbursed my out-of-pocket expenses. Karen now says she will look into this.
So far, I am out over $1100 for shots that my insurance company said they do cover, but this place lied about submitting any claims to insurance. I feel they like to exaggerate the insurance authorization times as since people are in pain, they will just pay cash to get the procedure done the same day and the office will then not have to deal with insurance.
Now I sit and wait if this office will even submit the claims to insurance. I doubt they will, but I will wait and see. Be careful before you listen the girls from the billing side of the facility, they will lie to you.
