I really want to take the time to brag on Sarah. She’s absolutely fabulous. Larry is very picky on who he likes and he adores her. He always tells her she can’t leave. She’s amazing. We are very grateful for her.

Our experience with Comfort Keepers was extremely disappointing. My wheelchair-bound husband relied on their caregivers for daily assistance. While some individual caregivers were excellent, the overall service was unreliable. Our weekday caregiver called out frequently, resulting in multiple substitute caregivers every month. Many of these substitutes had never been to our home before, and some told us my husband was their first client assignment. We have two medium/ large dogs and two small ones, and have always maintained safeguards for caregivers, including a gated room for the dogs and instructions to keep certain doors closed when the dogs are in the house. Two substitute caregivers later claimed they had been bitten by a dog. However, neither followed the established safety procedures, neither was willing to show me the alleged injury, and both stated they did not need any medical attention. One caregiver continued discussing the incident with other caregivers, spreading inaccurate information about our household. The larger issue was the company's lack of communication and staffing reliability. There were many occasions when substitute coverage could not be found promptly, sometimes leaving my husband waiting until midday to receive assistance getting out of bed. We also observed caregivers making personal phone calls or FaceTime calls throughout their shifts. What ultimately ended our relationship with Comfort Keepers was the way our case was handled. We later learned that our services had been discontinued, yet no one informed us. After several days without caregivers, my husband had to make multiple calls to find out what was happening. Even then, we were not given a clear explanation, only that our care had been terminated. When caring for disabled clients who depend on daily assistance, reliability, professionalism, proper training, and communication are essential. Unfortunately, our experience fell short in all of those areas. We cannot recommend this company based on our experience. Since our dogs have been described as vicious, I am including their photos.

Unfathomable disgrace. They should call it Discomfort Incompetence. We had an insurance order and waited a week for Shawn to come to our home. He stands and starts twisting back and forth upsetting both me and my injured family member. We went over our specific needs and emphasized we want a Kind, responsible, reliable and capable caregiver. All he cared about is His paperwork. He must of intentionally did the opposite of what we asked. He sent the lowest of the bottom of the barrel so called worker. She doesn't know how to lift a patient. She picks up under shoulders risking dislocation instead of using our life belt. She asks if she can go out on our balcony. I said no. Then when I return I see it open with a coke can full of cigarette ashes. My family member said she went out several times and ignored her. We can be fined by our HOA because we live in a no smoking building. When I came back this so called worker was playing with her phone and my family member was scared in horror being ignored. She removed some items so she could sit in the chair. I threw her out immediately and complained to Jennifer who is so called manager. She did nothing to compensate us. We tried again only because of the need and it would make a delay to find someone else. Jennifer assured me she is going to book a reliable capable worker. So the day of nobody shows. I call and they say the can't reach their so called background checked established worker. Nobody came and they ruined my whole day and appointment. You could find better service in a crack neighborhood. They should not be in healthcare be shut down and are harming suffering people. I will be filing complaints with the FL state regulators.
