I have been a founding member at the Panama City Club Pilates since it opened in November 2024, and I genuinely enjoy the classes. The instructors are outstanding and they all deserve 5 stars! They are knowledgeable, encouraging, and are the reason I continue to come back. This rating has nothing to do with the instructors. It is based entirely on how the business is run and the corporate policies that impact the member experience. The instructors are the heart of this studio. They consistently provide an excellent experience, create a welcoming environment, and are the reason I continue my membership. I hope Club Pilates recognizes and invests in these instructors because they are the studio's greatest asset. Over the past year, I've become increasingly disappointed with the lack of flexibility for loyal members. I recently needed to temporarily reduce my membership from the 8-class plan to the 4-class plan for just two months because of extensive travel. I wasn't asking to cancel or permanently downgrade, only to make a temporary adjustment while keeping my founding member rate. Instead, I was told that making any membership change would cause me to lose my founding rate and require a new three-month commitment. My only option to preserve my rate was to freeze my membership altogether, which actually results in less revenue for the studio than allowing a temporary downgrade. I'm also concerned about the studio's strict cancellation policy given that we live in an area that regularly experiences severe thunderstorms, flash flooding, tropical weather, and hurricanes. There have been times when I genuinely felt unsafe driving to class because of heavy rain, poor visibility, flooding concerns, malfunctioning traffic signals, and hazardous road conditions. Members shouldn't have to choose between risking their safety or losing a class credit or paying a late-cancel fee. A little discretion during severe weather would show that member safety is a priority. Another frustration has been the frequent schedule changes. While I understand adjustments are sometimes necessary, the class schedule at this location seems to change every few months, making it difficult to build a consistent routine. Other Club Pilates studios I've attended have offered much more stable schedules, which created a better overall member experience. Panama City is a big military community where members' schedules often change unexpectedly. I also believe Club Pilates is missing opportunities to better support members through more flexible membership options. I truly enjoy Pilates and want this studio to succeed, which is why I'm taking the time to leave constructive feedback. Unfortunately, the current corporate policies place unnecessary barriers in front of loyal members and make the business feel far less customer-focused than it could be. I sincerely hope Club Pilates reconsiders these policies because the instructors and the workouts deserve far better than the business practices surrounding them.

Absolutely terrible customer service. This location changed the instructor for my class at the last minute and never bothered to notify me. I only found out because I happened to open the app myself. By then, it was too late to cancel within their 12-hour cancellation window. The problem isn’t that I canceled late—it’s that Club Pilates failed to notify me of a major change to the class I booked. If you’re going to enforce a strict cancellation policy, you should at least have the courtesy to notify members when you change the service they’re paying for. To make matters worse, corporate agreed that the class credit should be refunded, yet this location still refused to honor it. The manager was rude, dismissive, and seemed far more interested in hiding behind “policy” than providing even basic customer service. This also isn’t an isolated issue. There have been multiple occasions where I’ve shown up for a scheduled morning class only to find the doors locked, no instructor present, with absolutely no notification that the class had been canceled. Members are expected to respect the studio’s policies, yet the studio doesn’t seem to think it owes members the same courtesy or communication. It’s clear this location has no problem changing or canceling classes without your knowledge while expecting you to be held to rules they don’t hold themselves accountable to. The lack of communication, accountability, and customer service is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere if you expect professionalism, respect, or basic communication as a paying member. If they decide to do the right thing and refund the class credit that corporate agreed should be refunded, I’ll gladly update this review. Until then, they’ve earned every bit of this one-star review.

I’ve been a Club Pilates member for eight years, and this is by far the worst location I’ve experienced. Unfortunately, it feels like the focus has shifted from providing a welcoming fitness community to prioritizing revenue above the member experience. The constant turnover in management is a major concern. This location is already on its sixth manager since opening, which makes it difficult for members to experience any consistency or stability. Each new manager seems to bring a completely different approach, and the latest manager, Sarah, has introduced a number of new rules without considering the members who have supported this studio from the beginning. Rather than creating a positive and supportive environment, the atmosphere has become rigid and unwelcoming. It often feels like member concerns are dismissed instead of heard. Long-time members deserve to be treated with respect and appreciation, not as though their loyalty doesn’t matter. I believe Club Pilates corporate should take a closer look at what is happening at this location. The frequent management changes and declining member experience suggest there are deeper issues that need to be addressed. I sincerely hope corporate investigates and helps restore the welcoming, member-focused culture that made me a loyal Club Pilates member for so many years.
