Very helpful and patient even when I could not make up my mind. I came back 30 min later to change the glasses and she did it smiling and joking with me. Made feel very good 👍

Jenny was the absolute best! She helped me pick two great frames that compliment my face, was super pleasant, and got me processed in record time — I’d been dreading ordering new glasses, but she exceeded all expectations. Will be back again!

I have used Target Optical for my glasses for over 20 years, so I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience and with Dr. Damaris Benitez-Kreymborg. I had an eye exam in June 2026. I was told by the doctor that my prescription had not changed from my previous exam at Tomoka Eye in 2024. I decided to get contact lenses. When I eventually picked up the contacts, I was able to put them in and remove them without any problem. However, I immediately told Amy, the optical employee assisting me, that I could see clearly at a distance but could not see anything up close. I couldn’t read my phone or paperwork while wearing the contacts. I was told that sometimes it takes a few days to adjust and to let her know by Saturday. The problem did not improve, so I contacted her before Saturday. I was then told by Amy that I would need to make another appointment with the doctor because that was their policy. I explained that my prescription had not changed according to both the Target exam and my 2024 prescription from Tomoka Eye, and I questioned why I was unable to see up close with the contacts. I was eventually told that again by Amy that because of my prescription, I would likely need multifocal contacts. My question is: if multifocal lenses were necessary for me to see both near and far, why weren’t they prescribed initially? What is most frustrating is that instead of helping me troubleshoot the problem with the contacts, I was told by Amy I would need to pay another $120 for another eye exam before the doctor would see me. Also, through the several months this situation has been going on, Amy never returned any of my phone calls and did zero follow up as she had promised. When I was there today, she would not even speak To me, she was speaking to another employee within the store and having them provide me with the information. Very unprofessional. After being a loyal Target customer for more than 20 years, I expected better customer service and more assistance in resolving an issue with contacts that were prescribed through their optical department. Unfortunately, I feel like I was left to figure it out on my own and was asked to pay another $120 just to have the doctor (Who also never returned my calls) address an issue that should have been addressed during the original visit.
