I arrived 30 minutes early for my scheduled appointment at the Ormond Beach location, only to be told after checking in that my appointment was actually in Orange City. This was after three days of trying to reach someone to confirm the location — and being told by their voicemail not to leave more than one message. No one ever called me back.
When I finally reached someone after leaving the Ormond office, she said she would contact Orange City and call me right back. That call never came either.
I drove to the second location on my own, only to be told I could not be seen and would need to make yet another appointment. By then, I had wasted half my day, two unnecessary trips, and my own gas because of their complete lack of communication and coordination.
No patient should have to deal with this level of disorganization. My time has value, and I fully expect the doctor to pay the invoice I submitted for the time, mileage, and inconvenience caused by their repeated mistakes.
This office needs serious internal fixes before more patients are affected.

Dr. Alyn Benezette (& Su) was sooo helpful! He really took his time. The wait wasn’t bad, as expected. His whole team is great. Worth the hour drive.
Been trying to get my pre authorization done for 4 days now and still nothing but the run around. My pain is unbearable where's the compassion for the patient. Unacceptable

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Booked an appointment for an EMG/NCV 3 weeks ago with Kim Shamburg. Received two confirmation emails. Day before I get a message that my appointment was moved to the day before my original appointment day. No phone call, email nothing even asking if that day would work. Call the office, put on hold, hung up on by them. Call again, rebook for my original appointment time. Drive 1 hour to get there, just to be told I was never even scheduled. Huge waste of time. Front desk woman was kind, but 0/10 do not book with this office.
I had an appointment with Dr. Grimes April 8th where he ordered an mri for my brain. I called imaging location two weeks later as I still hadn't been contacted for the mri, and they advised they haven't received it. I called the office and was transferred to Dr Grimes medical assistant where i left a voicemail. I then called back the next day and reception said they were sending a note. I then called back a few days later and was given to the office manager in orange city who advised that Dr. Grimes lost his medical assistant and there's been some issues as a result. She said she would send the order over and note it as escalated. I called a week later to the office and waited on hold for ten minutes until I was transferred to voicemail- where i was directed to leave one voicemail which i did. I received no response so I called in again yesterday and reception said she would send the order over immediately and asked me for Radiology Associates fax number. I advised i didn't have it and she said she'd find it and that i could call imaging location in 30 minutes and they would have the order. I called several hours later and they didn't have the order. Coastal Pain did, however, remember to bill my insurance and me for the office visit. If you're looking for the most incompetent medical practice I've ever encountered, this is the place for you.
