  I am 1,100 miles from my parents (I'm in Kentucky and they are in North Port, FL). My father recently had hip replacement surgery and the basic leather chair they had was not conducive for him in healing. I looked over the models they had on their website, but decided to call and see what they had in stock vs. being shipped. Natalie answered my call and has gone above and beyond. I purchased the chair sight unseen, but she did an amazing job describing the features and color, and set us up for a speedy delivery. However, in the middle of this, my father was admitted into the hospital and we had to postpone the delivery. To ensure that he had the chair in case he was released over the weekend, Natalie went above and beyond to squeeze us in for delivery on Friday afternoon. The chair is beautiful!! The chair was expertly delivered by Roy and G Hernandez. They took the utmost care in making additional room for the chair and setting it up. As my father is hard of hearing, they were incredibly patient in explaining the features of the chair and how to use it. Overall, this has been an incredible experience. I am truly thankful to Natalie for taking such great care of my parents when I am so far away. She was genuine and she was kind, and was of great assistance to my parents when they desperately needed it. I have seen other businesses take advantage of people in similar situations, but not this one. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the North Port area!!

  I want to think Natalie for her kindness and for helping me get what I needed when I couldn't get it myself. She went above and beyond to help somebody in need.

  Natalie was an amazing customer service representative. My wife, Mother-in-law and I came in to look at lift chairs and more compact walkers for our 92 year old MIL. Natalie had a natural way of educating all of us on the equipment and genuine empathy for our Mom. Very patient and helped direct us to the perfect fit for our situation. She knew the products very well and did not push or rush us along. It was one of the best experiences we have had in a long time. We recommend that store very highly and Natalie even higher 👍❤️

  Hi my name is Austin, I am a 49 year old male who unexpectedly needed a motorized wheelchair so I went online and found Medical Department Store in North Port. I called them up and the lady who answered the phone was Natalie. She asked me a series of questions and said she wanted me to come in and try her powered wheelchairs out. So I made an appointment and I'm 6 foot so I was hesitant but went anyways. Not only did she have my size but I was able to take it home today! It's been a rough week and I'm exhausted but Natalie made my experience bearable and FYI the price was in my budget! Thank you Natalie! Austin
