  This is my second and final visit to this dental practice. My experience with the hygienist, staff, and doctor was not great. The last dental hygienist was extremely rough, causing my teeth to become sensitive. When I spoke with the coordinator over the phone, she assured me that they would bill my insurance, which that never happened. They fail to inform patients that they are responsible for paying the date service fee. After my appointment, the doctor left for the day without checking my teeth.

  I would not recommend this practice. In my experience, they seem more focused on getting patients through the door with misleading marketing than on being transparent about costs. When I scheduled my appointment, I provided my Aetna PPO insurance information. At no point was I informed that the practice was out of network with Aetna. I was charged $780 to deep clean only half of my mouth, which was already surprising. The problems continued when they submitted my insurance claim. They failed to provide Aetna with the proper documentation needed for partial reimbursement. On the initial claim, they even listed the hygienist instead of the treating doctor, even though the hygienist is not recognized as the billing provider. After multiple phone calls with the office's claims representative—who was consistently rude and unhelpful—Aetna even contacted the office directly to explain exactly what documentation was required. Despite those instructions, the claim was still submitted incorrectly, and it was denied twice. The entire experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and completely avoidable had the office been transparent about its insurance status and handled the claims process competently.

  Nice, cool, friendly environment. The Staff, and Dentist there takes time with getting to understand exactly what you’d like to have done and ultimately helping u resolve whatever issue and accomplish final dental resolve. So far I am happy with the dental work. I have received there. -Thanks Tower Dental Arts
