DONT READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! Dr Hassan is awesome at first we were skeptical because of the reviews. After the 2nd visit there was no doubt his intelligence was hard earned. He has alot of knowledge and talents in this field. He is very straightforward so trust him. A little bit of uncomfortableness for a brief moment will help you get through the process. He can look at you and tell you if its allergy related or not. Now what allergy is for the testing to decide. Skin issues he knows if its allergy related. Trust him hes been in this field a very long time! Thank you Dr Hassan and staff! Jason and Michelle

I chose this provider because of his years of experience and the ability to be seen quickly, which I do appreciate. It’s clear that he has extensive clinical experience. However, my experience during the visit was very upsetting. During a nasal endoscopy attempt, I experienced significant pain almost immediately. I clearly expressed that it hurt and asked him to stop. I was told that it “should not hurt” and that what I was feeling was not real. I even began to question myself and agreed to try the procedure a second time, thinking it might be psychological. The second attempt was even more painful, to the point that I had tears coming out and had to ask again for him to stop. At that point, instead of acknowledging the situation, the doctor became visibly frustrated. He stated that he had performed the procedure “a million times” and insisted that it does not hurt, implying that my reaction was not valid. He then threw the instrument into the sink with noticeable irritation. I also felt blamed for reacting physically to the pain, even though that is a natural human response. Being told that my pain was not real and being treated with frustration rather than care was deeply distressing. I left the office in tears. I respect the doctor’s experience and do not question his knowledge, but patient care also requires listening, empathy, and respect, especially when a patient is in pain. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as no patient should feel dismissed or invalidated in a medical setting.

Frequently Asked Questions About Allergy, Asthma, Sinus and Immunology Center

WHAT IS ALLERGY?

Allergy is a harmful condition. Allergic individuals are sensitive to substances, which are not harmful to the majority of people. It is almost the opposite of Immunity, which is a protective resistance usually to harmful substances such as viruses, bacteria, and cancer cells. Allergy is a genetically inherited problem, not a contagious disease. Allergies affect as many as 40 to 50 million people in the US. Allergy is the sixth leading cause of chronic diseases in the United States. Approximately 36 million people in the US have seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever), and 16.7 million office visits to healthcare providers yearly are because of allergic rhinitis.

WHAT IS ASTHMA?

Asthma is an adverse reaction to certain foods, dust, dust mites, molds and mildew, pollens, other parts of plants, pets, cosmetics, metals, chemicals, and medications. The immune system overreacts producing inflammation, irritation, and even life-threatening respiratory distress. Over 20% of Americans suffer from these genetic diseases, which are very disruptive to the patient and the family. The allergic reaction can affect the nose and sinuses causing frequent respiratory infections and sinus diseases; the lungs causing asthma; the skin causing eczema and hives; or more serious symptoms called anaphylaxis (allergic shock).
