Without dropping them or misusing them, a noticeable scratch appeared on one lens. All I wanted was to replace the single damaged lens while keeping my existing frame. When I reached out, customer service refused to stand behind their product, stating their lens warranty only lasts six months. Their only resolution was an insulting $60 discount toward an entirely new replacement. After speaking with several competing eyewear retailers, I learned that standard industry practice includes proper anti-scratch protective coating and a full one-year warranty. Multiple competitors confirmed that Warby Parker’s lenses lack adequate scratch resistance, which explains why this happened so easily. To make matters worse, those same competitors offer comparable or superior quality for roughly 30% less. I had planned to purchase smart glasses through Warby Parker, but this complete lack of accountability and subpar quality changed my mind. I am moving my business elsewhere and will be buying my next pair through Gentle Monster instead. Save your money and shop with a brand that actually stands behind its products.
