My review on the instructors and studio is long overdue! First, the studio is always clean, welcoming, and has such a great atmosphere. The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive, and truly care about helping you improve. My only wish is that there were more class times available throughout the day.
Anastasia is amazing! I usually attend her Tuesday morning classes, and she always makes my mornings better. She is attentive, helps correct posture when needed, and accommodates any limitations you may have. She’s respectful, funny, and makes it a point to remember everyone’s name, which makes the experience feel so much more personal.
Chrissy is amazing too! She is one tough cookie and definitely pushes you to become stronger and better. Her classes are such a great way to start the morning.
I recently took a class with Sabrina, and she was excellent! She provides a great workout while taking the time to explain positions clearly and ensure everyone is doing movements correctly. She was covering for another instructor that day, but I really wish she had regular classes at this studio. I took one of her classes when the studio first opened and hadn’t seen her on the schedule again since then. She would be such an amazing addition to the regular roster.
Aileen’s Saturday morning classes have also been wonderful! She takes the time to get to know you personally and is fantastic with modifications and alternatives when needed. She genuinely cares about helping you get stronger and improve. I love how excited she gets when you accomplish a movement you couldn’t do before — she truly notices and celebrates your progress. I love the music she plays!
Denetra is very knowledgeable and always makes sure you feel comfortable with the exercises. She pays close attention to form and has such an upbeat attitude in the mornings. She also genuinely cares about helping everyone improve and often models movements for the class, which is super helpful. I’m hoping to take more of her classes this summer since my schedule doesn’t always line up, but I always look forward to them.
Michelle’s Sunday classes are relaxing and provide great recovery work. I really enjoy ending the week with her sessions.
I’ve also taken a few classes with Vanity, and she is great! She clearly knows what she’s doing and leads a strong class.
Hunter’s classes are definitely fast-paced, but he’s very good at pushing you beyond your comfort zone and helping you conquer movements you may have thought you couldn’t do.
Honorable mention to the young man at the front desk who checks everyone in - I completely forgot his name, but he is always so happy, welcoming, and kind. I hadnt seen him for a few months, so it was such a joy seeing him again recently. I asked where he had been, and he mentioned he goes to school out of state. Either way, it was really nice seeing him again because his positive energy always stands out.
One thing I do wish would improve is the 1w-hour cancellation policy. Life happens, and so many things can unexpectedly come up that prevent someone from making it to class. The type of documentation sometimes needed to waive the cancellation fee feels a bit excessive. I understand policies are in place for a reason, but a little more flexibility and understanding would go a long way.
Overall, I’ve had such a positive experience here and truly appreciate all of the instructors and the supportive environment they create!
