  Disappointing customer service. I cannot complain about the instructors; they did a great job. Customer service is nonexistent. I had 2 issues: my daughter was sick, and I needed to take her to the hospital. I called the studio 10 times that morning, 2 hours before my class, to let them know I would not be able to attend. I brought in the documentation to prove I was at the hospital with my 7 year old. Their response, if it’s not you, it doesn’t count. I could not understand how my child’s hospitalization was not a valid reason when I brought in documentation. I canceled my membership that same day. I did need to pay for one more month, which was fine. Today, I was 5 minutes late, walked in at 8:35. The front desk person states as it turns 8:36, sorry the grace period is 5 minutes. I get the limits but I was inside the studio at 8:35. I asked it just turned 8:36 her response was it’s for your safety. Giving that response was ridiculous; 1 minute for the safety was not a reason, regardless I was inside at 8:35. If this was the first time something ridiculous like that was said I might have been ok it’s not that big of a deal but now it’s just proven that they have a way of just stealing money. 2 classes they were able to collect money and a loss for the customer. Edit Response: Thank you for your response. I completely understand that is why I stated that I understand the rules. For my daughters illness, nothing was offered. I called 10 times that morning (no response), 2 hours prior to the class. I emailed and explained I cancelled the class to make it available for someone else, I also did this with time just not the 12 hours as my daughter woke up ill. I was not offered to reschedule. To also help understand it was not an urgent care visit it was a hospitalization, which I also emailed after to explain. I understand you might not have this policy for animals, very inappropriate to compare a 7 year old child to an animal. As for today, like I stated I walked in at 8:35 so it was not over your policy. Your front desk person let me know about the policy and it turned 8:36. I can confirm this as I called my husband once I stepped out and the time stamp on my phone says 8:36. So again, your explanation while great as it is does not really apply. Customer service is not just a response over a review to try to show others that you can make your customers feel like they are stating something unreasonable. Again, thank you for your response.

  Absolutely loving our experience at Club Pilates so far. My husband and I live within walking distance, which makes it incredibly convenient and was one of the reasons we decided to try it. We took our first class on Saturday with Cheney and had such an amazing experience. He was welcoming, encouraging, and made us feel comfortable right away. This morning I took the cardio class with Stephen and it was exactly what I was looking for. The 6:30 a.m. class time was perfect, I was done by 7:20 and back home to start my day. I strength train 4 to 5 times a week and wanted something to give my body a little change, and add a different kind of challenge. So far, Pilates has been a great complement. Also have to mention Laura, the manager, who has been so kind, communicative, and helpful throughout the process. Everyone has made us feel welcome and the studio has such a positive energy. So far, nothing but great experiences and I am excited to keep coming back.

  I love Pilates I have been a member for almost a year.. today I had a very bad experience.. I did arrive 5 minutes late to the Kendall location.. my first time coming here. I was turned away. I think that is abusive and wrong. I did arrive at 10:35 I should have been allowed in. I think this is very disappointing.

  David is a fantastic instructor who gives very clear, detailed cues that make it easy to follow, even during complex reformer moves. He is always encouraging, patient, and warm, making everyone in the class feel comfortable and capable.
