Extremely disappointing experience. We were told our daughter’s ultrasound appointment was at 2:30 PM and that she needed to arrive with a full bladder. By 3:10 PM we were still waiting with no clear communication or updates. Our daughter is only 5 years old she cannot physically control her bladder like an adult. She was visibly uncomfortable, anxious, and struggling while we sat there worried she would accidentally urinate and lose the opportunity to complete the ultrasound.
I went to the front desk to ask for an update, and the response we received was dismissive: “you just need to wait.” The staff member, Natasha, showed very little empathy or professionalism. Her demeanor made it seem like our concerns were an inconvenience instead of a legitimate issue involving a young child in distress.
Hospitals that work with pediatric patients need to understand they are dealing with children and worried parents, not numbers on a schedule. A little communication, compassion, and basic empathy would have gone a long way. Nobody wants to spend hours in a hospital waiting room with an uncomfortable child. This experience left us feeling ignored and frustrated.

I’ve been to this emergency center many times and never had issues before, but my experience that day was very disappointing. The doctor seemed upset and was rude and unprofessional. I don’t believe a doctor should have that kind of attitude, especially not with children or their parents. He even questioned why I came again after being seen at a different ER the night before. I returned because my son had a seizure and still wasn’t feeling well—I was scared. The nurse, however, was very kind and took the time to explain everything.
