  I rarely shop at GNC, and this experience reminded me why. The cashier was extremely pushy about signing up for their $40 Pro membership, aggressively insisting that I would easily make the money back on future purchases. I eventually caved under the pressure, only to realize later how misleading the pitch was. When I returned months later, I found out that you need 150 points just to get a $5 reward—and my initial purchase of over $200 only earned 40 points. When I brought this up, the employee was still argumentative about how I would "eventually" break even. I understand employees have targets or commissions, but aggressively badgering customers into paid memberships is unacceptable.

  GNC at MacDill Air Force Base by the commissary is a great stop for vitamins, supplements, protein, and health products. The location is convenient, especially when you’re already shopping at the commissary, and the store is clean, organized, and easy to navigate. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and they make it easy to find what you need without pressure. Whether you’re focused on fitness, energy, recovery, nutrition, or overall wellness, this GNC is a solid resource for the MacDill community. Great customer service, convenient location, and a good selection. Highly recommend.

  Big guy running the shop needs to take a break. He clearly is agitated dealing with old vets all day long. "I don't do bar sales past x o'clock" or something to that effect because the it will "crash the register" then proceeds to ask me if I understand instead of apologizing. He just acts like customers are an inconvenience to his work schedule and doesn't desire to be helpful at all.

  I like GNC products but I don't like shopping at this store and I won't anymore in the future. There was this bearded guy, I don't remember his name but he was extremely pushy and condescending when I didn't want to take advantage of there specifical. This is the second experience Iike this I have had with this individual. If you like GNC I recommend going to a different one.
