- SAS AJun 6, 20261.0I am incredibly frustrated with the level of care I received at this Pearle Vision location. The optometrist performed a highly negligent exam and provided me with a completely inaccurate prescription. I am genuinely unsure if her diagnostic equipment is broken or if she simply lacks the competence to do her job. Throughout the examination, I repeatedly communicated that I could not read the letters properly. Instead of adjusting the equipment or investigating further, she dismissed my feedback and blamed the blurriness on "dry eyes." Furthermore, I clearly stated my vision issues were isolated to my left eye, yet she modified the prescription for my right eye instead. When a technician at another retailer flagged the prescription as suspicious, I contacted this Pearle Vision office to verify it. The staff member on the phone was dismissive and assured me the prescription was perfectly fine. Unconvinced, I sought a second opinion from another doctor, who easily identified the correct prescription after a proper, thorough exam. Due to this clinic's negligence, my vision insurance benefits were entirely exhausted on a useless exam, forcing me to pay completely out of pocket for the second opinion. I am filing a formal complaint with the relevant authorities regarding the poor standard of care and financial impact caused by this location.
