New Patients Introductory Special!

Introductory for first time new clients (does not apply to the following types of massages: Thai, Sport, Lymphatic Drainage, and Oncology). Total appointment time will take 65-75 minutes. Includes consultation and a full 60 minute medical massage session, followed by a treatment plan review. Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to complete intake forms.

Medical Massage (30, 60, 90, 120 minutes)

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment. Medical Massage is prescribed and intended to resolve conditions that have been diagnosed and prescribed by a Physician. The Medical Massage Practitioner can use a variety of modalities or techniques such as Neuromuscular therapy, Myofascial release, Lymphatic drainage, Muscle testing, Trigger point therapy etc. but will focus the Medical Massage session on the areas of the body related to the diagnosis. 30 minutes medical massage sessions are focused on one specific area, such a shoulder, a knee, or lower back. 60, 90, 120 minutes medical massage sessions are full body.

Thai Medical Massage

60 minutes Thai Medical Massage session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment. Thai Medical Massage integrates ancient Thai healing traditions with Western medical techniques, combining deep compressions, assisted stretching, acupressure, and myofascial release. This therapy targets musculoskeletal imbalances, enhances mobility, and alleviates pain. Tailored for conditions like sciatica, frozen shoulder, and tension headaches, it blends timeless wisdom with modern therapeutic care for optimal recovery.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

60 minutes Lymphatic Drainage session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment. Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a type of massage based on the hypothesis that it will encourage the natural drainage of the lymph which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. The lymph system depends on intrinsic contractions of the smooth muscle cells in the walls of lymph vessels (peristalsis) and the movement of skeletal muscles to propel lymph through the vessels to lymph nodes and then to the lymph ducts which return lymph to the cardiovascular system. Manual lymph drainage uses a specific amount of pressure (less than 9 ounces per square inch or about 4 kPa) and rhythmic circular movements to stimulate lymph flow. Clinical studies of MLD conclude that further study of the practice is required before recommending it as an effective health treatment.

Deep-Tissue Massage

60 minutes Deep-Tissue Massage session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment. Techniques that utilize deep-tissue/deep-muscle massage are administered to affect the sub-layer of musculature and fascia. These techniques require advanced training and a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology. The muscles must be relaxed in order to effectively perform deep-tissue massage; otherwise, tight surface muscles prevent the practitioner from reaching deeper musculature. It helps with chronic muscular pain and injury rehabilitation, and reduces inflammation-related pain caused by arthritis and tendinitis.

Oncology Massage

60 minutes Oncology Massage session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment. An Oncology Massage is a patient-specific, customized massage session designed to meet the unique and changing needs of someone in treatment for cancer or with a history of cancer treatment. A safe massage plan generally revolves around the side effects (both short- and long-term) of chemotherapy, radiation and surgery.

Prenatal Massage

60 minutes Prenatal Massage session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment. Prenatal Massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue.

Sports Massage

60 minutes Sports Massage session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment. Sports Massage is a targeted form of massage for athletes, typically given before, during and after events. It helps to relieve swelling, reduce tension, improve flexibility, prevent injuries, and reduce fatigue with the goal to improve the athlete’s performance.

Thai Traditional Massage

60 minutes Thai Traditional Massage session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment. Thai Traditional Massage was added to UNESCO’s Intangible Culture Heritage of Humanity list in 2019. This ancient healing method practiced by Buddhist monks at the temple, uses a blend of stretching, yoga and acupressure techniques to relax the body. Unlike Swedish massage or Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage, where patient is a passive participant, in Thai Traditional massage, the patient – who remains fully clothed – bends, stretches and moves their limbs with the help of the therapist to boost flexibility.

Ray and her team are excellent! They focus on your needs and help you understand what could be causing any muscle issues or pain you might be having, only to have you feeling great when you leave.

I would like to express my appreciation to Lakeland Medical Message for being so great to me throughout the years. I had a brain stem stroke in 2019 and have struggled with many deficits throughout the years. I began at Lakeland Medical years ago and have continued to improved in several ways. The staff have all been amazing to say the least! I have visited for both message therapy and also lymphatic drainage and everyone I have worked with have treated me with respect and care. I appreciate the time they take in each visit with me to listen to my concerns and treat me based on my individual needs. From walking in the door, during treatment, and exiting, the care team there have always been sweet and caring. I highly recommend visiting Lakeland Medical! They have truly been life changing for me! Thank you!

Lakeland Medical Massage is a top notch establishment! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable in her field and teaches all over the world. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating for finding the right massage therapist for your needs. I have found that the pricing for the quality of service is amazing. I have been going regularly for two years and I cannot say enough good things about LMM. So, if you are looking for knowledgeable, experienced and a friendly group of massage therapists, I could not recommend a better place than Lakeland Medical Massage!

I had a wonderful experience at Lakeland Medical Massage. The staff is professional, welcoming, and knowledgeable from the moment I arrived. My therapist took the time to listen to my concerns and tailored the treatment to address my specific areas of pain and tension. I left feeling noticeably better and appreciated the therapeutic approach they used. The office was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for effective pain relief and quality care.

Update to owners response: the owners comments below are all false. I never yelled at anyone. The scheduling staff never offered to stay late on the same day as my originally canceled appointment that is a flat out LIE. I was offered a future appointment on a future Saturday at 8pm weeks in the future and I even asked the girl if they stayed open that late on a Saturday and she said yes. Two minutes later another lady called me back and said the first girl was new and it was only her 3rd day of work and she should have never offered me that late appointment and she cancelled it. I have the right to refuse an appointment with a male if I don’t feel comfortable with a male. The issue is the business owner is now under staffed now that Natalie is unfortunately out due to an emergency and instead of taking responsibility for the situation and talking to clients like a responsible business owner she makes up lies and just cancels appointments. Read the other reviews on here where she has canceled appointments of other clients in the past for so called medical emergencies, this seems to be a common theme. Very underhanded and unprofessional. Simply childish really. Future clients BEWARE! I had been going to Lakeland Medical Massage for several months and had been seeing therapist Natalie. This low rating is not against Natalie as she is a wonderful massage therapist probably one of the best I have ever seen in my life. Unfortunately Natalie was out on medical leave and 2 of my appointments were cancelled. I totally understand that emergencies happen however I expect the business to be able to reschedule me with someone else within a reasonable timeframe. When the receptionist called to reschedule I told her I can only come on Saturdays as I work in Tampa and I don’t arrive back to Lakeland until late at night during weekdays and that I prefer a female massage therapist. The only options I was offered to reschedule were a male massage therapist or weekday appointments which don’t work for me. Then I was offered a late appointment on a Saturday night which I even questioned if they were open that late on Saturdays and the person told me they were, so I accepted the appointment and 2 minutes later another person called to cancel that appointment saying they don’t stay open that late and the first person who made that late appointment was new and shouldn’t have made the late appointment. This total confusion and chaos by the scheduling team. So then I was offered 2 more Saturday appointments over 1 month in the future which I accepted. Then both of those appointments were cancelled for no reason. This business owner is unable to manager her business properly and when I called to ask why my appointments were cancelled again for the 2nd time I was told it was because I complained about my appointments being cancelled previously and the owner cancelled my appointments. The business owner is very underhanded and obviously unable to handle her business and doesn’t have enough massage therapists to handle all of the clients now that Natalie is out on leave so she is just cancelling peoples appointments. Totally unacceptable business practices by the business owner who will not speak to me on the phone and I was told by the receptionist they will not give out a name or phone number for the business owner. Future customers beware!!! There seems to be unfair business practices and even discrimination taking place at Lakeland Medical Massage and I will be reporting them to the better business bureau. This is totally unacceptable behavior by this business owner considering the amount of money I have paid this business in the past not to even have the courtesy to speak to me on the phone.
