The Medical Massage Practitioner can use a variety of modalities or techniques such as Neuromuscular therapy, Myofascial release, Lymphatic drainage, Muscle testing, Trigger point therapy etc. but will focus the Medical Massage session on the areas of the body related to the diagnosis. 30 minutes medical massage sessions are focused on one specific area, such a shoulder, a knee, or lower back. 60, 90, 120 minutes medical massage sessions are full body.
60 minutes Thai Medical Massage session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment. 60 minutes Lymphatic Drainage session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment. Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a type of massage based on the hypothesis that it will encourage the natural drainage of the lymph which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. The lymph system depends on intrinsic contractions of the smooth muscle cells in the walls of lymph vessels (peristalsis) and the movement of skeletal muscles to propel lymph through the vessels to lymph nodes and then to the lymph ducts which return lymph to the cardiovascular system.
