  My hearing aid test was the best test I have ever had. My audiologist was very knowledgeable about everything. She was also extremely pleasant.

  Only interested in selling me new hearing aids that were not needed. I called the Edgewood, Lakeland location before making an appointment asking if they were able to adjust my current hearing aids (Starkey IQ2400). I was told yes. I made the appointment, had my hearing checked and was then told that my Starkey hearing aids could not be adjusted for my hearing loss and that my hearing loss could not be corrected without the purchase of NEW hearing aids.................... I was pretty certain that the Audibel technician was either ignorant or outright deceitful.. I left and booked an appointment at Lakeland Hearing Care (Central Florida Speech and Hearing Center). My ears were retested and the audiologist adjusted my Starkey hearing aids to my total satisfaction (and beyond).. She stated that the Starkey IQ2400 is a solid, high quality hearing aid with plenty of "headroom" capability for future adjustments. A knowledgeable honest doctor saved me $7000.00 ($3500 after insurance).
