  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Kahlil! He has been incredibly patient, diligent, and dedicated to helping me find the right medication that works for me while also taking into consideration the other medications I take. What I appreciate most is his willingness to think outside the box, explore different options, and genuinely work with me to find the best solution. He never makes me feel rushed or like I’m just another patient. His patience, creativity, and commitment to finding something that truly works have meant so much to me. It is refreshing to have a doctor who genuinely listens and is willing to go the extra mile for his patients. I am so grateful for his care and dedication!

  I met Dr. Kalil earlier today for my first appointment, and I have to say - wow. What a breath of fresh air. It is so refreshing to meet a provider who genuinely takes the time to listen, answer your questions, and educate you without ever making you feel rushed or talked down to. That kind of care is unfortunately not always the norm these days, which made the experience stand out even more to me! I really appreciate the time he spent with me and left feeling heard, informed, and grateful. What an honor to get even 20 minutes of his time. Thank you, Dr. Kalil! Please don’t blow it and lose this one Mava 🙌

  Have had other psychiatrist in the past that let my Son run out of medication, and was not a good experience for my Son and myself, as a mother to see your Son suffering because of negligence from past Doctors, but Dr Lisa Shallenberger has been wonderful and very compassionate and caring for my Son. Dr Shallenberger knows how to communicate to him and make him understand things.i would highly recommend her to anyone.

  I had an excellent experience with Dr. Lisa Shallenberger at MAVA Behavioral. She is a respectful, attentive, compassionate, and dedicated mental health professional who demonstrates a strong ability to work with patients with special needs. I especially appreciate the way she communicates with the patient, taking the time to listen, explain, and adapt her interactions to the individual’s needs while always maintaining a respectful and professional approach. Another quality I greatly value is that Dr. Shallenberger is bilingual, which is particularly helpful for Spanish-speaking patients and families and makes her care more accessible to people from different cultural backgrounds. Being able to communicate in both English and Spanish facilitates understanding and allows patients and families to express their needs and concerns more clearly. In my experience, she has been approachable, understanding, culturally responsive, and genuinely committed to individualized care. I am very grateful for the quality of care she provided and for the professionalism and compassion she demonstrated. I would gladly recommend Dr. Shallenberger to families seeking a professional who understands the importance of respectful, individualized care tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
