This is a YMCA. It is HUGE and it's a very nice facility. They have 2 pools, all of the weight machines one could ask for, friendly staff and it is very clean inside the building. I would recommend this facility to everyone looking to get into a daily exercise regimen.

I had my first workout here in years. I came as a guest a decade or so ago. I’ve been a planet fitness member for that whole decade. A new location opened a year ago and I do love it, however I’ve been wanting more from my workouts as far as post workout amenities other than massage chairs. I was wanting to hit the pool after training, and then sauna/steam room which I did today, and it was awesome. Would definitely give 5 stars, my only complaint is that the weight training machines could use some expanding. There are plenty of cardio machines, maybe too many. I personally feel like more machines/cables could be added. I definitely had to wait for a few machines today, I am definitely curious what the after work rush will be like. But it’s not the end of the world. Overall a great facility. **UPDATE** Overall it is a great location and has good amenities. However it can be hard to use the pools as they use them for a lot of other things like swim lessons, camps, third party therapy sessions, etc. The men’s locker room definitely could use some TLC. The shower curtains are way too small/short and you have essentially no privacy. Not everyone is comfortable having the whole locker room see them completely nude. There was also an abundance of mold/mildew in the showers and I did notice rags from days before hanging on the shower stall for multiple days, eluding that the showers were not being cleaned thoroughly or at all. Now for the gym floor. As mentioned above, there is an abundance of cardio machines lining the windows overlooking the city. However this gym heavily lacks in updated equipment for weight lifting. I came back over a decade later to find the exact same equipment that had not been replaced. There are also no multiples of weight machines, and there are only 2 smith machines. A gym this size, in this location, with this many members, it is a must that you have multiples of weight machines, and more variety. I went multiple times earlier in the day avoiding the after work crowds, and still had to walk circles around the gym to wait for machines. I was also asked on multiple occasions while I was using a machine how many sets I had left, and if they could work in, eluding to the fact that there is a major layout/availability issue, and to be honest the machines are outdated. Overall this is a nice location, but considering the price you pay, I do not think it is worth it for consistent gym goers that value variety of equipment.

It's disheartening to write a poor review however I want to ensure people are aware of what is taking place here. First, I love the facility. I have watched Winston transform over the years (I have been a member off and on since attending camp during my childhood). There was an incident that took place that was quiet alarming. I attempted to bring a guest member and she was stopped at the front desk stating her name was flagged on the sex offender registry list. The issue was she isn't a sex offender and they stated it was a male that shared the same name (her name isn't gender neutral, very feminine). Odd, right? They already made a copy of her ID (which doesn't have the state required sex offender identifier). They then took her id in the back to scan it and stated we could enter. After being offended, I quickly declined entry on both of our behalf. As I walked out I began to think as a parent/educator, how many sex offenders have a membership at this location (which have a high volume of kids)? I wouldn't want my teen child working out solo knowing this and have decided to cancel my membership. I'm not going to say it was racially led however I felt embarrassed for my guest. Parents please be mindful that your minors maybe working out amongst sex offenders while at this facility. All it takes is a swipe of an ID to ensure their location is tracked and they are allowed entry.
