Signed my daughter & niece up for swim lessons this summer and it hasn’t been the best experience at all. The coaches are nice, I’ll give them that. I’m all for being on time but sometimes things happen and you end up being a little behind. Lessons are 6-8 weeks, they’ve only attended 2 lessons. 1 lesson was cancelled due to an event held at the facility but we had no idea until we arrived for the lesson. Today we show up right at 11:30 and I took 3 min to put caps and goggles on and 1 min to walk up to the gate just for them to tell me we can’t join because we’re 4 minutes late. No Grace period no nothing even though a parent had just walked in ahead of me no problem and still was able to join. I paid out of pocket and at this point I’m just going to cut my losses. I will not be coming back next summer and it sucks. This is where I learned to swim as a kid. Very irritating and frustrating.

Johnson Branch is the worst out of the 3 branches I have visited regularly over the years. This one needs a LOT of work, improved customer service, and advertising. They have very limited indoor exercise space; need to update and/or repair the rusted outside equipment; they do not have any towels for those sweating, showering, or using the pool; the kids splash pad and pool pool are closed every time we come; and their group exercise rooms used mostly during regular work hours (9-5). The one after 5 Zumba class (offered 2 days a week) is very full. The 1 hour Saturday kids sports zone may or may not operate or may not start on time. Reason given: lack of staff. There was only one round of free-with-membership swim lessons offered here this summer. We missed it as it was not advertised beforehand. All other swim lessons cost over the membership, as well as all other practice or competitive programs for adults and kids. There is never a real resolution to any of these issues - only a rehearsed apology or redirection. 😩😒 I have consistently observed no more than 5-10 non-employees in the building at various times and days. Once these issues are remedied and advertisement is widespread and consistent, I’m sure membership will increase over time.

I’m very disappointed in the swimming instructor today for tiger Academy .she was very rude to all of the parents making comments out loud about the parents being there. Saying out loud that she hopes the parents aren’t like the parents from last year. This Is very unprofessional the flyer clearly states that parents are welcome to attend.
