I hope I spell his name correct. Raben was awesome. I came in with a pair of glasses that a screw fell out. He found a solution by replacing the screw with one similar. Explained what he did to make it look close to the same. Gave me a cloth to clean the glasses before I left. I didn’t even buy anything from him or the store. This is what I call customer service. Love to see people helping others. Well done

Please avoid. I purchased scratch resistant glasses in November of 2025 only to realize that, despite cleaning the glasses with the cloth provided, the glasses are developing small scratches along the bottom lenses. When I went in to Lens Crafters (Jax Beach) the saleswoman made alot of assumptions - my cloth has dirt with caused the scratches, I sprayed hairspray or sunscreen on them, I set them down improperly, etc. Mind you, my vision is so poor that I only remove my glasses at bedtime, thus discrediting many of her theories. What she failed to do was to stand by their lenses, only offering a discount to fix the problem...aka, spend more money. I called customer service only to learn they do not have a call center and will send you a link to fill out with your concern. Unfortunately, my insurance does not work with Vision Works. Even with insurance, these glasses came at a cost of $325. If yours does, go to Vision Works in Town Center. This place, their employees and their product are well worth the money. Follow up - June 8th I followed the customer service link provided above and spoke with the store manager. She asked that I come in, AGAIN. This time my glasses would be put under a microscope to better see the issue- why wasn't this done the 1st time I went to the store. My schedule prevented me from going until this week. Upon calling the store to check the managers schedule, I was told no one knew what her schedule was for the coming week and that I would receive a call - that did not happen. When I called today, Monday morning, I was told the manage was "busy all day and all week" and would not be available for a call or to see me when I came into the store. I immediately reached out to the woman at corporate indicating as such, requesting a call from from her with a better way to resolve this issue. Receiving a call or email reply is my hope. In the meantime, I will be filing a complaint with the BBB against this location in an effort to warn other consumers.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
