I recently purchased new glasses at the Lens Crafters Jacksonville Florida store. It was a great experience. Kasia (pronounced KAH-shah) listened to me carefully and was especially helpful. I am very happy with my new glasses and the service was excellent! James Szyslowski

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after three visits I feel it’s important to share my experience. This is my first pair of glasses, so I’ve needed some extra guidance and adjustments. Unfortunately, each visit has been frustrating and left me feeling overlooked. During my most recent visit, I was greeted and told someone would be with me shortly. A staff member approached to help, but then took a phone call, stepped away, and proceeded to take a FaceTime call while I was still waiting for assistance. She did not return to continue helping me. This has been a consistent theme during my visits — difficulty getting support and feeling like my time was not respected. I understand that businesses get busy, but professionalism and communication go a long way, especially for first-time customers navigating something new. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience for others in the future

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
