We booked a bachelorette reformer Pilates class at Club Pilates here in Hollywood and unfortunately the experience was incredibly disappointing from the moment we arrived. Our group spent $39 per person ($312 for 8 of us) for a class we were genuinely excited about, but the staff completely ruined the experience for the bride.
Four members of our group arrived at 8:01 for an 8:00 AM class — literally one minute late due to traffic — and the remaining three arrived at 8:08. Instead of showing any understanding or hospitality toward a large group celebrating a special occasion, the front desk staff was cold, dismissive, and rude. We were repeatedly told it was “policy” and that the employee would “get yelled at” if she allowed us into class. The instructor, Olga, was equally unwelcoming and lacked any customer service or compassion. We ultimately left the class, as this was a group activity, leaving one remainder customer in the room.
We fully understand studios need policies, but there’s a huge difference between enforcing rules professionally and treating paying customers like an inconvenience. For a boutique fitness studio charging premium prices, the lack of flexibility, empathy, and basic kindness was shocking. What should have been a fun and memorable experience for the bride turned into stress, embarrassment, and disappointment.
The contract and policies are extensive, but nowhere in the experience did the staff make any effort to de-escalate the situation or offer alternatives, accommodations, or even basic courtesy. For a business built around wellness and community, the atmosphere felt anything but welcoming. We did call ahead months ago to inquire about group activities and private classes, they suggested booking separately in this manner, as they stated a regular class wouldn’t be booking up. Our group booked this event a month in advance, with them knowing we’d be arriving in a group.
Would not recommend for group events, first time customers or special occasions unless you’re prepared for extremely rigid policies and poor customer service.
Booked and prepaid for an 8am beginner Pilates class for a group of 8 girls for a Bachelorette while visiting from out of town. Four of us arrived on time, and the remaining four were delayed due to traffic. We immediately notified the front desk, but were told they would not be allowed in the class past 8:05am. The front desk employee stated, “it’s our policy” and “she will yell at me,” referring to the instructor, Olga. Our group coordinator had actually called months in advance to ask the best way to reserve a class for a larger party, and we followed the exact process recommended by the business.
Unfortunately, the interaction that followed felt abrupt, unwelcoming, and far from beginner friendly. Olga was only willing to take part of our group despite the class having just one other participant outside of our group. As someone completely new to Pilates, the energy felt uncomfortable from the start and not at all inviting for first time clients.
What was most disappointing was the lack of customer service or flexibility despite the circumstances. There was no effort made to accommodate the group, offer a reschedule, or reimburse the 8 spots we had reserved and prepaid for. We ultimately all chose to leave, and the class began with ONE participant.
As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of policies, but customer experience and professionalism matter. We will not be back.

WORST MANAGEMENT EVER, BEWARE!!! The front desk ladies are cordial but ultimately have no decision making power. Any issues you have with this company are escalated to managers that are never there or their regional managers that are the most dismissive people who have no customer service. I signed up for the basic membership and after I wanna say 4 months I upgraded to the unlimited class membership. This means I was outside the 3 month cancellation fee period that they disclosed at the beginning. Throughout my membership I purchased multiple pieces of merchandise and became a loyal customer. On my 5th month there I decided to cancel due to personal reasons. They told me that I would incur a cancellation fee due to the member upgrade. This was extremely disappointing and frustrating as I was well out of the 3 month cancellation period and I was never told that it would reset when I upgraded. They had to escalate my issue and after a few days that they said I would receive a call from the regional manager, I did not. I filed a dispute with my cc and only after I filed a dispute did I suddenly start receiving calls from the district managers personal number. I did not answer any of them as I was already in the dispute process. They ultimately took the cancellation fee from the last month I paid that they said I would get a refund for. It was extremely unprofessional, not customer forward, and shady. After hearing so many bad things about this place it makes sense how I was treated.

Do not sign up. They reel you in with a “first class,” which isn’t even a real session—just 30 minutes showing you the reformer machine. They advertise a $29 enrollment fee, but days later run promotions with no enrollment fee plus 20% off, which already feels misleading.
Their cancellation policy is extremely rigid—if you cancel even 8 hours in advance, you still lose your credit (it must be 12+ hours). In my first month, I lost two credits, and they refused to accommodate or credit even one class.
The experience itself is not beginner-friendly. In my first class, the instructor ran the session as if everyone was experienced, with no adjustments or guidance. There’s no personalization at all—they don’t check you in or track whether it’s your first or tenth class. You’re expected to rely entirely on the app and figure things out on your own.
Overall, it feels impersonal, inflexible, and not worth the cost.
