Our family of nurses, doctors, staff, and volunteers at Palmetto General Hospital are dedicated to providing expert, compassionate care for families. We’ve been caring for you and your loved ones, in this great community of ours, for many years. This is our home, too.
Palmetto General Hospital opened its doors in 1971 with just 50 beds. Today, our hospital serves more than 130,000 patients each year. From bariatrics to breast cancer imaging, we’ve received many designations for quality care. Although we appreciate these prestigious honors, we are most honored by the opportunity to serve you and your loved ones.
